Most of the time the challenge is our unopened hearts. The Word holds no value in the mind, it only grows in the heart. Matthew 13:23. It is a good and honest heart that can access the truth. God’s Word is superior to man’s intellect. Isaiah 55:8. We can’t comprehend God and His Word with our intellect. That is why you could have a PhD in New Testament with salvation as your core area of research and not be saved. It has to do with the heart. Revelation 3:20. He will never force His way into anybody’s heart. Church Gist. May each one’s heart be opened today. Proverbs 23:26. You can’t access my ways without your heart. You can hear it but you may not understand it. You can see it but you may not observe it. Everybody needs an open heart to make the most of their adventure in the Kingdom. An open heart is the only place where the seed of the Word of God can grow and command proofs.
Nobody can walk in the supernatural without suspending his natural senses. Can I be fetching water when I need wine? That is not sound. Yes, it is intellectually unsound but spiritually sound when faith comes into the equation. Church Gist. “How can you be leading us to the Red Sea? Now, I know Moses came to destroy us. That is what he came for.” Without suspending your natural senses you can’t flow in the supernatural. Romans 4:19-20. He has to suspend those things for Isaac to come. Your Isaac is just around, don’t let your intellect become a barrier.
The sage, T.L. Osborn said to me, “David, how will people get down here?” I said they are already here. We had not moved. Not that I hope they will be here, they are already here. Faith sees through the eyes of scriptures. I know I will be well. No! You don’t get well like that. I know I am well based on what He already did. Are you still feeling pain? No! I am well. It is the only way to be well. You must be prepared to suspend your small intellect to flow in the supernatural. How can you come around and say you are going to build this place in one year without a budget and it happened? Church Gist. Where is the speed? God. How? God. It is time to suspend it. How can I scatter and have more? No, I am not a dummy. Only Word dummies rule their world. In the name of Jesus whatever is blocking your access to the supernatural, I command an end to it today.
2 Kings 7:1-2. God shut him down. He went down to the grave. Don’t compare God to man. God said tomorrow and it came to pass. That man’s senses blocked his way to partake of the supernatural. He was the man on whom the king leaned. He was behind food negotiation, food importation and food everything. Church Gist. When God stepped in, He refused to suspend his senses and he lost out. You need to suspend your senses to walk through the fiery furnace. You can’t walk into the den of lions without suspending your senses. That is why we have problems, you keep following your feelings not His Word. You keep following the environment, not His Word. In the name of Jesus, I declare your access to the realm of the supernatural today.
That is suspended by holding fast to that which is written against what may be happening with faith burning in your heart. Church Gist. It is knowing what is written and allowing it to rule over what may be happening that brings about the supernatural. I have walked this path hitherto, no games, no gimmicks. God is up to anything He says.
OPERATING IN THE SUPERNATURAL 3
What is a miracle? A miracle can be defined as a manifestation of God’s response to our faith in His Word and His prophets. Romans 4:19-21. Genesis 21:6. God will make you laugh. Within a week God turned the fortune of a corrupted world. The earth was without form and void and within six days God stepped in. Church Gist. Now the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof and all that dwells therein. Within this one prophetic week that is just declared, many shapeless lives will take shape. He made the world in six days, He can recreate your life and my life in one day.
Don’t ever toy with prophetic words, they are divine instructions to the next phase of your life. There is nowhere it is written, “This is the place.” A prophetic word came and said this is the place and by responding to it, see much it is appraised. “Arise, get down to Lagos” is not in scriptures, it is a prophetic word. 2 Chronicles 20:20. Matthew 10:41. I have been in this thing before I was called to ministry, so it is not about ministry. Church Gist. It is about getting people to turn their hearts to God and bring God to the centre of their lives. My heart desire and God knows it is to see every Winner come on the same frequency that I walk with God. To inject the same passion that I have from God, so they can see more than I see if they will care to receive it.
Faith in God and His Word, faith in His prophets are all platforms for provoking the supernatural. “Go and return with results” He heard it and then he went and came back with children. He received the prophetic word, not just heard it. Yes, there are fake prophets because there are true ones. You can’t have counterfeit currency without a genuine one. It is the genuine that they want to counterfeit. God still has prophets on the earth today. Also note that only those who believe in miracles ever experience them. Church Gist. Don’t wish, believe. Many are busy wishing for miracles. You don’t wish for miracles to experience them, you believe in miracles to see them. Can I tell you this? I am overly persuaded that no economic situation on this earth can affect this Church. I am persuaded beyond any iota of doubt except heaven is closed. Just take the Word raw and put it to work, you have committed God’s integrity at all times.
I have seen death severally, you know why I wouldn’t die? I had believed for long life as ordained for me in scriptures. So I smile when death attempts to scare. It is time to know how this thing works, so it can begin to work in your life. Church Gist. I have never been pushed to borrow because I have already received a Word that immunes me to borrowing with a vow not to. When a situation tries to arise, I have never thought of that till eternity. If God cannot do it, let it remain undone. That is how to flow in the supernatural.
We were looking for money for baby food and the Lord said give all money you have as seed and I did. So that even if we find baby food now, we won’t have money to buy. The following day, 24 cartons of baby food arrived. You don’t suspend the natural, you can’t flow in the supernatural. I didn’t say “oh God, remember oh. Church Gist. If we find baby food, how are we going to buy it?” We were in one arm when we came to the church by reason of distance and I said that day, we will soon start a second service. Do you know why? God never builds up what He will not use. He hates waste. Over to you. You are sons and daughters of the prophet, you must come on this frequency because it is your right. It is your right to operate in the supernatural, that will be your new realm.
We serve a covenant keeping God. Among the platforms ordained of God to operate in the supernatural is to commit to kingdom advancement endeavours. Kingdom advancement endeavours here include:
- Soul Winning
Put on the gospel armour. We sang in stanza 3 and 4 of that song, Stand Up! Stand Up For Jesus. The Gospel is a spiritual armour. Your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. It is a call to duty. It is a covenant responsibility. Soul winning empowers believers to operate in the supernatural. Church Gist. Remember he that wins souls is wise (Proverbs 11:30), the wise shall inherit glory (Proverbs 3:35) and they that be wise shall shine, not shall struggle. They shall shine. Daniel 12:3. Stars are made of those who are committed to turning many to righteousness. Stars are made.
We have received a lot of humbling tributes from unthinkable places. “I will bless this earth and I will make thy name great” (Genesis 12:2). These are not things by chance. I just wrote a new book, Passion For Souls, a hidden Kingdom treasure. Between 2015 and the first operation we did this year, I have seen 138,000 souls give their lives to Christ. Not in Church, no! Jesus is saving them in church, I am partnering with Him on the streets. Daniel 12:3. Nobody sits down to emerge a star in the Kingdom. Acts 26:22, 19:15. Let’s stop wishing, let’s stop waiting, let’s step into action
God never lies. Every child of God is ordained a soul winner, if he chooses to. Joshua 24:15. If he chooses to. John 15:16. You know many are called but few are chosen. Few choose to respond. Every soul winner is empowered to command the supernatural. Mark 16:17. Church Gist. Signs don’t sit down with people, signs follow people on the go for Jesus. Either on the altar of prayer passionately, fervently interceding for souls to be saved, making mention of individuals who are targeted for the kingdom or burning with passion pursuing after the lost. Signs don’t follow the seated, signs follow those on the go. Mark 16:20. That is what happens.
Many years ago, we were in that kind of little village crusade and the Lord said to me, there was a young man brought there that was deaf and dumb. He said go down and kiss him. I went down, his name was Samuel. “Samuel” “Yes! Jesus! Jesus!” That was it. Signs follow those on the go, not people sitting down. Somebody got delivered in one of those meetings and the evil spirits came on him the following day in our camp. They called me, “Brother David, there is a big problem. Come now.” I went there and I said “Is this the big problem? Leave him. Church Gist. He was throwing everybody around no matter how much muscle you had. You know demonic power and human strength, the gap is wild. That is why when somebody is mad, he stays inside the cold and he is not bothered. Leave him, then I shot at him Jude 6. What are you doing here? He was calm. These things follow them that are on the go, they don’t sit down with you. So when you are on the go for Jesus, be bold to pray for the sick. Be bold to pray for the challenged. You will see in that book if you care to read it, the testimonies of changed lives. We are God’s change agents.
Whatever flows through you, first blesses you. If signs flow through you, signs will first bless you. Water can’t flow through you and you are still thirsty. You can’t carry water as a pipe and still be thirsty, if water is passing through you, it first waters you before it goes forth. The husbandman that labours is first partaker of the fruit. 2 Timothy 2:6. So the more you are sold out to God, the higher your level of command of the supernatural which blesses you in person. It flows through you to bless others but you are a first partaker because it is passing through you. Church Gist. That tells you that soul winning is not about building the church, soul winning is about building your life to retain command in this wicked world. We were going somewhere and they tied some charm there like what farmers will do. The brethren got there and they stood. I said what is going on? They said I should see. See what? I used my left hand and I threw it off. You are developing capacity with the consciousness of the one who sent you. Something is breaking forth in your life.
Not to have God at the centre of your life, life remains a struggle. Matthew 10:1, 8. There is always an empowerment that accompanies men on the go. Mark 6:7, 12-13. Church Gist. Every time you get on the go, you are entitled to empowerment. So we are not empowered to sit, we are empowered to get on the go. On the go for God and the interest of His Kingdom in all ramification.
- Praying Kingdom Advancement Prayer
Matthew 6:9-10. 2 Peter 3:9. 1 Timothy 2:4. Thy will be done on earth as it is done in heaven. What is His will? He wants all men saved and come to the knowledge of the truth that is available in church. The interesting thing here is that kingdom advancement prayers change people. Jesus was on the Mount of Transfiguration, as he prayed the fashion of his countenance was uttered. His garment was white and glistening and they appeared to Him two men, Moses and Elijah. They were speaking to Him on the matters of the Kingdom for which He prayed. Luke 9:29. Church Gist. Some fellows here today, in the course of this week you will experience a supernatural turnaround on the altar of prayer. That makes kingdom advancement endeavour an open platform for all believers. Maybe you can’t go out by reason of age but you can pray up. Maybe you are challenged mobility wise but you can pray. Anyone who can eat can pray. Target someone this week for salvation. Pray passionately for God to intervene and rescue that individual and watch what happens.
When God is out of the equation in a man’s life, life becomes an adventure in frustration. Let God be the constant of your journey. You will never get stranded. Peter and John were going to the temple in the hour of prayer and then the miracle happened at The Beautiful Gate. Prayer is a platform for commanding the supernatural and we saw an undeniable miracle. Acts 4:16. Now they gathered together in Acts 4:29 down to 33, they prayed and the place where they gathered was shaken. Church Gist. They prayed into next level of empowerment and signs erupted. Acts 5:12. That is what prayer does. It opens up a believer’s life into the realm of the supernatural. You find prayers and its ripple effect all through the Acts of the Apostles and they are Kingdom based prayers. It changes people’s stories.
- Through Our Financial Stewardship
David said I will not give sleep to my eyes until I find a place for my God. An undying passion! He made many mistakes but Jesus wiped them off because he repented. Jesus arrived here as Jesus the Son of David and He is sitting in heaven holding the key of David. 1 Chronicles 29:3. Financial Stewardship in promoting the Kingdom is one of the avenues for operating in the supernatural. Psalm 41:1-3. They are all things that happen when we commit to promoting the Kingdom of God which includes looking after the needs of the needy. Church Gist. There are people here who are paying for transportation fares, some bought buses to get on the road for their zones and they are flowing in certain things. There is no technical way to explain it. They are flowing in certain realms. Miracles don’t just happen, they are made to happen by engaging with the covenant requirement for their happening. Miracles are no accidents, they are the deliberate acts of God in response to the Word practice of men. The good news is you are changing level.
David now said “who then will follow my example?” These things are written for our examples. You want to flow in the realm of fortune that David found himself in, then follow his example by setting your affection towards the promotion of the kingdom as a lifestyle. Church Gist. You find things turning not once a while but once and again. It is your heritage, you are not struggling with it. There is no one who loves to be in debt. No! Does anyone want to struggle in the affairs of life? No! Then do what He says to do.
Now, we understand that huge finances will be required to build the later house. Zechariah 1:17. Matthew 24:14. Huge financial resources will be required but God is not looking for who will help Him. God is looking for who to bless because He has the custody of the silver and the gold in His hand and is only looking for trustworthy hands to channel these treasures through. God doesn’t need finances. He is looking for those He can trust to channel His resources through. I am privileged to be one of them. He channels His resources through me and it is showing. I have found myself saying “Lord don’t let me come over until you have engraced me to build you a thousand churches.” When I find any truth, I sell myself to it. So we could do 100 churches in a year by His blessings without announcements, without going out and saying I have gone out to dedicate this church. Church Gist. Before I had the first bank account, I had it in my heart. “Lord, if you ever bless me, I want to be building you churches.” I didn’t have a bank account. You first need a heart, God does not need your purse. He needs your heart. Give me your heart and watch what I do with your life. Everything about God, nothing moves you. Where are you going? How can you sit in this kind of place and nothing moves you about God? I say before I had my first bank account. Why? The money I had cannot go to the bank. Transportation to the bank will finish it and no ATM, no POS but it was in my heart.
He said to David, “I know it was in your heart to build me a house and thou doeth well because it was in your heart.” It is first in your heart before it touches your hand. If it is not in your heart, it won’t reach your hand. It is in your heart first. Do you know why many are far from a billion? They can’t see themselves giving a billion in their life. He can’t put that in their hands. Not in terms of playing games but as a natural way of life. 1 Kings 8. Church Gist. You always do well, when advancing the Kingdom of God is in your heart. No matter what goes wrong on the earth, you will always do well. From today, I see you doing well all round in all areas of your life.
Luke 16:11. Kingdom wealth is entrusted. It is not an achievement, it is an entrustment. Can you be trusted with Kingdom wealth? How prepared are you to be a Kingdom promoter with His wealth, that will determine how much of that He can put through you. You are going places. Haggai 2:3-9. You don’t have the custody of the silver and the gold, I don’t have it, He has the custody. He is simply looking for those that can be trusted to channel it through. You can’t imagine what David gave towards the building of the temple. Mammoth! Church Gist. Put all of Israel together, they couldn’t match it and it was from his private treasury because it was in his heart. He keeps pouring it when it is in your heart. You have had quite a number of the drops of mercy, now is time for the showers. So get set for it, it is time for the showers.
There are quite a number of people who are across board in our ministry who are now under the showers and have remained there for years. Why are some others suffering drought? We are teaching the same thing, if you go to any church you will hear them saying this. They are yet to see what those ones have seen. Church Gist. You can’t see it and not run with it. May you see it today. The money you will not use to serve God, you will serve that money. It will become a god. It will come quietly until it becomes the thing you are worshiping.
Financial commitment will keep the heavens over believers open for outpouring of blessings. Haggai 1:10. Don’t shut the heaven against yourself, get connected. You start from where you are. Yes, somebody else is giving 10,000 but you have ₦1 in promoting His Kingdom, do it. You have someone who is crying in need, a child of God and it is in your power to give him ₦5 to solve that immediate problem. Do it. That is the way to climb to the top. You don’t start climbing a tree from the top, you start climbing it from the bottom. Church Gist. God is not looking for who to use, God is ever looking for who to bless. This is the anchor of my life – Matthew 6:33. My heavenly Father knows that I have need for all those things but His solution, Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things that others are dying to get shall be added unto you.
Today is our Covenant Day of Exemption, please listen attentively because it is the dawning of a new day for you. As we all know spiritual understanding is vital to commanding the supernatural. Proverbs 21:16. We need spiritual understanding to gain command of the supernatural. Church Gist. Not intellectual understanding, spiritual understanding. Colossians 1:9. It is our level of understanding that determines the level of command we gain of the supernatural. Matthew 13:23. That which fell on the good land brought fruits according to the level of their spiritual understanding.
- Engage with the Covenant of SeedTime And Harvest
To be exempted from this economic woes that is coming on the earth, stay committed to the covenant of seedtime and harvest. Malachi 3:6-10. Some began to murmur. Where is the profit and we are serving Him? Malachi 3:15-18, 4:1-2. Church Gist. You will be growing up and going forth in the midst of a burning down by the covenant of seedtime and harvest to which you have signed up, you are supernaturally distinguished and exempted from the evils of the day. That is what it is. Start from where you are and start now. God never lies. Somebody’s story has just changed.
- Develop A Covenant Exemption Mentality
For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Gird up the loins of your mind (1 Peter 1:13). Gird up, don’t allow your mind to wander away. Let Word thinking dominate your life. Habbakuk 3:16-18. I will be glad and rejoice in Him. I will lift up my voice to sing praises to Him, this is the day He has made. I have not seen one thing that took my smile from me and I have seen quite a few things. Nothing has succeeded to take my smile and conqueror’s laughter from me. I call it the conqueror’s laughter because you have seen the victory before the battle arrives. Psalm 2:4. 🎵I have seen the downfall of Satan. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to God. I have seen the downfall of Satan. Glory be to God. Amen🎵 You have seen the victory before the battle comes, so you face it with a smile. Church Gist. “What are you doing here? You are too small.” That is your new realm. Proverbs 23:7, 4:23. You can’t think the way they think and not suffer the way they suffer and not suffer the things they suffer. You are peculiar so think peculiar thoughts as contained in scriptures. Think scriptures to secure your future. Don’t think what the doctor says, don’t think what the economic indices are saying, think scriptures to secure your future. For as far as your eyes can see, unto you will I give it. Genesis 13:15. Think scriptures, think wild. Think Genesis to Malachi, think Matthew to Revelation. All that you see shall be given to you.
Today is our Anointing Service, understand that the mystery of the anointing is ordained our exemption from the horrors of the day. Psalm 105:14-15. Evil will never touch you anymore. Ephesians 1:13. It is a seal of protection, a seal of exemption over our lives. Isaiah 10:27. Church Gist. What destroys others will not come near you. He placed a mark upon Israel so when the Death Angel came, he couldn’t penetrate. He suffered not the destroyer to enter into them. In the name of Jesus, what afflicts the world will not come near you.
More often than not, destiny creeps in suddenly. Suddenly I heard seek a quiet place, I want to talk to you and destiny landed. Suddenly I heard God say to me “Give me that thing” and joy filled my heart. I told my wife and she said praise the Lord. The same day God swore a blessing, “My son, even if you don’t want to be rich it is too late.” Church Gist. May 1987. I carry God’s blessings. Sworn blessings. Here is one week of sacrifice for souls ordained for someone’s dramatic change of story if you care.
What is on the altar of sacrifice?
i.) Curses are averted on the altar of sacrifice.
The first altar of sacrifice reared in the Bible, Genesis 8:20-22. God smelled a good savour and revoked the curse on the earth. Church Gist. The altar of sacrifice is the altar of revocation of curses. Any curse hanging over anybody’s life, this week it will be off.
ii.) It is there we encounter sworn blessings.
Sworn blessings are encountered on the altar of sacrifice. Genesis 22:16-18. Church Gist. When God swears a blessing, struggles cease. May each one experience a sworn blessing this week.
iii.) Stars are born on the altar of sacrifice
We saw Paul, a star Apostle who wrote more than half of the New Testament, even devils acknowledged him as next to Christ. 1 Corinthians 9:16. He bewoed himself. Philippians 1:21. Acts 26:22. 2 Timothy 4:8. There is no star without a scar and the scar of every star is sacrifice. The most treasurable sacrifice to God is sacrifice for souls. May the stars of many arise. Church Gist. By making this week a week of sacrifice indeed. It shall be so for you. We sacrificed our honeymoon for the gospel and we have been having honeymoon all these years. Every genuine sacrifice causes the star in you to rise. I don’t know for certain but I was one of the first people to teach hitch free marriage. Not marriage management. It works.
