24th September 1989: The Lagos Invasion Project of Living Faith Church Worldwide begins with the first Sunday Service held at 1 New Era Road, Iyana Ipaja with 250 people in attendance. God told His servant, Bishop David Oyedepo on 19th July 1989, “Arise, get down to Lagos and raise me a people.” Today, there are over 2000 zonal centres (mini churches) in Lagos State.

24th September 1842: The Methodist Church Nigeria is established after Reverend Thomas Birch Freeman and Mrs William De Graft of the Wesleyan Methodist Church arrived in Badagry on a missionary voyage.

24th September 2022: 60 branches of Living Faith Church Worldwide in 54 new nations hold their inaugural service.

24th September 2019: Most Reverend Henry Chukwudum Ndukuba is elected as Primate of All Nigeria Anglican Communion at the Episcopal Synod of the Church of Nigeria in Asaba, Delta State Nigeria.

24th September 1911: Leslie Gordon Vining is ordained a deacon by Handley Moule, the Bishop of Durham in England. He was the First Archbishop of the Church of Province, West Africa.

24th September 1971: Olusola Allyson is born. She is a Gospel Music Minister and a Songwriter.

24th September 2014: Mama Esther Urujabia Muoka goes to be with the Lord at the age of 102. She was the mother of Pastor Lazarus Muoka, the General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry.
