3rd October 2010: Pastor Godman Akinlabi is prayed for and released from Daystar Christian Center by Pastor Sam Adeyemi. He served in Daystar Christian Center as an associate pastor for over a decade.

3rd October 1999: Reverend Paul Akazue is introduced as the New Africa Overseer of Apostolic Faith Mission. He was the Third Africa Overseer of the Church. He served in that capacity till he passed on to glory in 2010.

3rd October 2020: Pastor E. A. Adeboye suggests during a symposium celebrating Nigeria’s 60th independence anniversary that Nigeria urgently needs to restructure or break up. The Symposium was co-organized by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and the Nehemiah Leadership Institute.

3rd October 1970: Arome Emmanuel Adah is born. He is the Founder of Savannah Ministries, Abuja, Nigeria.

3rd October 1987: Yoido Full Gospel Church holds a Prayer Rally for the nation and people of South Korea at Yoido Square. The Prayer Rally had more than one million people in attendance. The Church was Founded by David Yonggi Cho.
