10th October 2010: The Elevation Church is established. The Church was founded by Pastor Godman Akinlabi after previously serving at Daystar Christian Centre. Today, the Elevation Church has branches across Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, London, Manchester, Houston and Toronto.

10th October 2005: Crawford University commences academic activities after the resumption of her pioneer set. Crawford University is a Christian private university established by the Apostolic Faith Mission in Igbesa, Ogun State of Nigeria.

10th October 1943: His Eminence Dr. Sunday Olatunji Amos Makinde is born. He was the Prelate of Methodist Church Nigeria from November 2006 to October 2013.

10th October 1837: Thomas Birch Freeman is ordained into Ministry. Thomas Birch Freeman was a missionary who pioneered the Methodist Church in West Africa.

10th October 2020: Evangelist Lawrence Oyor weds Darasimi Mike-Bamiloye. Evangelist Lawrence and Pastor Darasimi Oyor are Lead Pastors of Davidic Generational Church, Ibadan, Nigeria.

10th October 1958: George Bennard goes to be with the Lord. He was an American hymn composer and preacher best known for composing the famous hymn, “The Old Rugged Cross”.
