11th October 1928: Joseph Ayodele Babalola is called to ministry by God. Apostle Babalola’s call to ministry led to the 1930 Revival. He was the First General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church.

11th October 2005: Redeemer’s University of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) begins at the temporary site in the Redemption Camp (Now Redemption City) with 478 students. The University is located in Ede, Osun State, Nigeria.

11th October 1964: Baptist Student Union (BSU) which is now Baptist Student Fellowship (BSF) is established at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University). This was the second campus where the Fellowship was established after the University of Ibadan.

11th October 1531: Ulrich Zwingli goes to be with the Lord. He was a Swiss Theologian and a leader of the Reformation in Switzerland.
