A lot of you are going through storms and you want peace and tranquility but God says, what if I don’t calm the storm, would you still be able to have peace?
Jesus even says, here on this earth you will have many trials and sorrows but take heart because I have overcome the world. You will struggle, it is not going to be easy, you won’t have everything you want but take heart for Jesus has overcome the world, you are still supposed to maintain peace while going through it.
Peace is found only in Jesus. Many of us go through pressure because we don’t go to the right source to help us lift. God wants to give you peace even under pressure.
How do you have peace under pressure? You accept the advocate and use his help. The advocate is the Holy Spirit. What you are trying to do is lift the pressures of life without the Holy Spirit.
Jesus had to go so the Holy Spirit could come. If He stayed, He would only be present but when the Holy Spirit comes, He could be in your past, present and future. That’s why Jesus came to tell us that if you need peace, the Holy Spirit is the only one that can be everywhere you need to be.
If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, when you put your faith in Him, you have an advantage and His Name is the Holy Spirit. If you are out there trying to lift the pressures of life on your own, you are losing while you think you are winning. If you want peace, go to the one who has given you an advocate to help you lift every single situation in your life.
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee”.
Isaiah 26:3.
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”. John 14:27.
