5th February 1958: Florence Abiola Olutayo (now, Pastor Faith Abiola Oyedepo) is born. She is the wife of Bishop David Oyedepo and Vice President (Education Commission) of the Living Faith Church, Worldwide.

5th february 2023: Mama Hilda Joanne Adefarasin (nee Petgrave) passes on to glory at the age of 98 years. She was the mother of Pastors Wale Adefarasin of Guiding Light Assembly and Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock Church.

5th February, 1837: Dwight Lyman (D. L.) Moody is born in Northfield, Massachusetts, United States of America. He was an American Evangelist, Publisher and Founder of the Moody Church, Northfield School and Mount Hermon School in Massachusetts (now Northfield Mount Hermon School).

5th February 2019: Dominion University, Ibadan, receives license to operate by the Nigeria University Commission (NUC). Dominion University was founded by Bishop T. V. Adelakun led Victory International Church.

5th February 1893: John G. Lake weds Jennie Stevens in Millington, Illinois, USA. John G. Lake was a Canadian-American leader in the Pentecostal movement that began in the early 20th century who played a decisive role in the spread of Pentecostalism in South Africa between 1908-1919.

5 February, 2004: Omega Fire Ministries International is founded in the city of Auchi, Edo State. The Church was founded by Apostle Johnson Suleman.

5th February, 1980: Irikefe Obareki Don Momoh also referred to by her music name, Kefee, is born. She was a Nigerian female Gospel Singer and composer and passed on to glory on 12th June 2014.
