9th February 1995: Bishop Harford Anayochuku Iloputaife goes to be with the Lord. He was the Founder of Victory Christian Church, headquartered in Lagos State Nigeria. He was the second youngest Bishop consecrated in recorded history as at then.

9th February 1962: Senior Gabriel Okpako (S.G.O) Uyeh joins The Apostolic Church, Uzere Isoko South in Delta State Nigeria. On Sunday 11th, he read the only lesson in the Service in Isoko Language. He is the National Vice President of The Apostolic Church Nigeria (TACN) and the Lagos and Western/Northern Areas (LAWNA) Territorial Chairman.

9th February 2023: The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) holds her 17th Biennial Conference in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State Nigeria tagged: “More Than Conquerors.” Pastor E.A. Adeboye, Bishop David Oyedepo, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, Bishop Wale Oke, Reverend Felix Omobude, Peter Obi (Former Governor of Anambra State) and many others were present.

9th February 2020: Run Conference 2020 rounds off at Streams of Joy International in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. It is an annual week-long Christian Conference hosted by Pastor Jerry Eze, the Global Lead Pastor of Streams of Joy International and convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD).

9th February 1815: Claudius Buchanan passes on at the age of 49. He was a chaplain and educator in India known to advance the Gospel and free missionaries from the control of the East India Company.

9th February 1958: David Wilkerson decides to sell his TV and pray two hours each night instead of watching late night TV shows. He was an American Christian Evangelist and the founder of Times Square Church, New York City and co-author of the book: “The Cross and The Switchblade”, a top-selling book with over 50 million copies sold in over 30 different languages. He passed on to glory at the age of 79.

9th February 1717: The foundation for the First Lutheran Church building (New Jerusalem Church) in Tranquebar, South India is laid.The building was consecrated for use in October 1718 and was renovated in 2006.
