10th February 2015: Covenant University is ranked the best University in Nigeria and West Africa by the Ranking Web of Universities, also known as Webometrics. The School is currently ranked the best University in West Africa by Times Higher Education. It was founded in 2002 by the World Mission Agency, an arm of the Living Faith Church Worldwide.

10th February 2005: Reverend Darrel D. Lee and his wife, Mrs. Debbie Lee visit Nigeria. Reverend Darrel D. Lee is the Superintendent General of the Apostolic Faith Worldwide.

10th February 2022: Bishop Peter Awelewa Adebiyi goes to be with the Lord at the age of 79. He was a former Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Owo, Ondo state and Diocese of Lagos West before his retirement in 2013. He established a secondary school and a palm kernel plantation that still generates income for the Diocese of Owo till date. He also grew the number of Parishes from 100 to 300 and established a hospital in Lagos State Nigeria.

10th February 2023: The Sanctuary of Jesus Is Alive World Centre, a Pennsylvania Church affiliated with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) led by Pastor E.A. Adeboye is vandalized leaving damage not less than $70,000.
