12th February 2023: Vice President Yemi Osinbajo renames the RCCG campground from Redemption City to Redemption Nation during the dedication of Trinity Towers, Lagos State Nigeria.

12th February 2002: The National Universities Commission (NUC) presents the operating license for Covenant University to operate as a private higher institution in Nigeria. The approval was the fastest among the 16 applications filed for the same purpose at that time as Covenant University’s assessment score was the highest. Covenant University is currently ranked the best University in Africa by Times Higher Education.

12th February 1989: Christ Life Church International, the Church arm of The Sword of The Spirit Ministries comes into operation after a very strong conviction of the Holy Spirit in the life of His Servant, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, the President and Founder of The Sword of the Spirit Ministries and The Presiding Bishop of the Christ Life Church International. Before this time, The Sword of the Spirit Ministries had started on 3rd September 1983.

12th February 1972: Evangelist Amaka Okwuoha popularly known as ‘Chioma Jesus’ is born. She is a Nigerian Gospel Music Minister from Imo state. She lost her parents (Nze Euzebius Chukwumaeze and Lolo Dorathy Ebizie) at a tender age, leaving 7 children with her as the eldest among them. She started singing at age 9 in her Church Choir. She was a soloist at the Scripture Union Fellowship for years.

12th February 2023: Pastor E.A. Adeboye dedicates Trinity Towers, Lagos State Nigeria, a fourteen storey building built by the RCCG City of David Parish. The Trinity Tower project was first mooted under the leadership of Pastor Eskor Mfon and eventually started and completed under Pastor Idowu Iluyomade. It is the tallest Church owned building in Nigeria and one of the tallest buildings in Lagos, Nigeria.

12th February 2021: Apostle Frederick K.C Price goes to be with the Lord. He was the Founder of Crenshaw Christian Center (CCC) in South Los Angeles, California. He was a televangelist known for his Ever Increasing Faith Ministries Broadcast aired weekly on television and radio.

12th February 1942: Gloria Copeland is born. She is the wife of Brother Kenneth Copeland, co-founder of Kenneth Copeland Ministries, Author and Teacher. One of her notable mentees is Bishop David Oyedepo.

12th February 1959: Harford Anayo Iloputaife is born. He was the Founder of Victory Christian Centre (VCC). He passed on to glory on 9th February 1995.

12th February 1915: Frances Jane Crosby (Fanny Crosby) goes to be with the Lord at the age of 94. She was a blind American hymn writer. Some of her popular hymns include: ‘Blessed Assurance, Jesus is mine’, ‘I Am Thine, O Lord’, ‘Jesus Keep Me Near the Cross’, ‘Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior’, among others.

12th February 2023: Pastor Uche Aigbe preaches with an AK-47 rifle to illustrate his message for the day. He is the Resident Pastor of House On The Rock, The Citadel and Towers, Oladipo Diya Street, Abuja.
