6th March 2006: Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide receives a license from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to begin operation as a private higher institution in Nigeria. 6th March: Folarin Ogunsola is born. He is the Executive Pastor of Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly (COZA), Lagos State Nigeria.

6th March 1475: Michelangelo Buonarroti is born in Caprese, Italy. He was the Chief Architect of St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City. He was also known for his paintings on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in Rome and for designing the Sculpture of the biblical David.


6th March 1901: Amy Beatrice Carmichael rescues and shelters her first temple run-away, a young girl who had been dedicated to Hindu gods and forced into prostitution to earn money for the priests. In the following years, she rescued many other children often at the cost of exhaustion and personal danger. She was an Irish Missionary in India and the Founder of Dohnavur Fellowship.


6th March 1984: Pastor Martin Niemöller goes to be with the Lord. He was the President of the Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau (1945-1961); President of the World Council of Churches (1961-1968) and co-founder of the Confessing Church in Germany.
