18th March 1957: Bishop Thomas Olayiwola Aremu is born in Oyo Town, Oyo State, Nigeria. He was a former Vice President (Mission Inspectorate Service) of Living Faith Church Worldwide.

18th March 2022: The Pentecostal Fellowship Of Nigeria holds the Special Ministers Conference tagged Generational Shift at the Fountain Of Life Church Ilupeju, Lagos State Of Nigeria. Ministers at the Conference include Bishop Francis Wale Oke, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, Pastor Poju Oyemade, Pastor George Izunwa, Pastor Jerry Eze, Apostle Joshua Selman, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Pastor Chingtok Ishaku and others. The major highlight of the meeting was the apology and reconciliation of the older generation of ministers in Nigeria and the new generation.



18th March 1971: Cyril .I. Onyenadum receives the vision to commence Christ Ambassadors Students’ Outreach (CASOR) in Sinkor Chapel, Monrovia Liberia, West Africa. The Ministry was first called ‘Chi Alpha’, a Greek word for ‘Christ Ambassadors’ and was renamed to Christ Ambassadors Students’ Outreach (CASOR) by the Executive Committee Members, Assemblies of God Nigeria following the official appointment of C.I. Onyenadum as the First Director of CASOR in January, 1975.


18th March 1957: Oral Robert renames Healing Waters Incorporated to Oral Roberts Evangelical Association Incorporated. This is to emphasize the Message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ more than the Healing Ministry.

18th March 1870: John Graham Lake is born. John G. Lake was a Canadian-American leader in the Pentecostal movement that began in the early 20th century and he is known as a faith healer and missionary to South Africa.

18th March 1861: The Metropolitan Tabernacle pastored by Charles Spurgeon moves permanently to the newly built Tabernacle, a 6,000 seating capacity auditorium at Elephant and Castle, Southwark London, United Kingdom. It was burnt down during the World War II in 1941 and was rebuilt in 1957.
