DON’T CALL ANY MORTAL MAN YOUR GODFATHER. AVOID HUMAN WORSHIP!

Pastor David Ibiyeomie while preaching at the 28th Anniversary Celebration of Salvation Ministries emphasized that referring to men as your Godfather makes you a slave of man for life.
He said “Most time when we think idol, the first thing we think about is something they carved. There’s human worship which is an idol, where you worship people. People worship politicians. They say ‘that’s my godfather.’ Don’t call any mortal man Godfather. The two names of God, you give to mortal man, God, Father. That’s the day you will remain a slave. Check, anybody who calls anybody Godfather will never rise because you have made that man your God, so you will serve him till you die. Check anybody who calls someone godfather, they don’t rise above those people.”
He further stated that all our praises must be to God alone.
