16th April, 1994: Dr. Paul Enenche weds Dr. Becky Ibu. They are the Founders and Senior Pastors of Dunamis International Gospel Centre. Their marriage is blessed with four children.

16 April, 1907: Sydney Granville Elton is born. He was an English Missionary of The Apostolic Church and one of the Founding Fathers of Pentecostalism in Nigeria.

16th April 2023: Streams of Joy, Abuja, an expression of Streams of Joy International celebrates her second Church anniversary with over 12,000 worshippers. The Church was founded by Pastor Jerry Uchechukwu Eze.

16th April, 1856: Reverend Thomas and Mrs. Lurenna J. Bowen leave Ogbomoso, Oyo State Nigeria for the United States of America due to ill health. They were American Baptist Missionaries who lived in Ogbomoso, Oyo State Nigeria to spread the Gospel of Christ. Their Missionary work laid the foundation of the Baptist Church in Nigeria. The Baptist University in Nigeria was named after Thomas Bowen.

16th April 2006 : God’s House of Refuge is founded. The Church was founded by Pastors Ezekiel Atang (of Blessed Memory) and Pastor Dr. Dara Atang in the City of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria.
