THINGS ARE ROUGH BUT THEY WILL GET ROUGHER. – Bishop David Oyedepo
While rounding up his message at the Opening Night of The Easter Faith Convention 2025, Bishop David Oyedepo stated that things are rough at the moment but they will get rougher as stated in the Bible. He also emphasized that the roughness isn’t peculiar to one nation but it will be seen across the Globe. “Every single nation is going through some stress.”
He beckoned on members to take cover in salvation as that is the only way of escape from the darkness that is rampaging the Earth. He also stated that it’s not enough for one to say he is saved; “salvation must connote new life.”
He also emphasized on the need of members to genuinely surrender their lives to Christ. That spiritual authority begins with valid new birth experience and not cosmetic new birth. He also stated that one can’t be in darkness and exercise authority over darkness. “I was 25 when I saw my authority in His resurrection and by His grace, I’ve been exercising that over the years and it has never failed once” – he stated.
