GIVING IS NOT A PROOF OF SALVATION

Bishop David Oyedepo speaking about the proofs of genuine salvation at Day 2 Hour Of Visitation of The Easter Faith Convention 2025 said “New birth is not about giving but about giving one’s life to Christ. There are many philanthropists in the world who don’t know God. Church Gist. Giving is not a proof of salvation. No, it is a covenant responsibility to remain under God’s blessings. That you are a giver does not qualify you for membership of His household. There are a lot of financial things going around in Church today.
He further stated “Salvation is about giving one’s life to Christ. “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Church Gist. We get saved through repentance and accepting Christ as our Lord and Saviour. Otherwise, “Even if I offer my body to be burnt and have no charity, it profits me nothing” (1 Corinthians 13:3).
