ANYTIME YOU GET LIGHT, PUT IT TO WORK.

Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr while preaching at the First Hour of Visitation Session of the Easter Faith Convention 2025, shared how God used him to cast an evil spirit out of a woman by the revelation of God’s Word. He also admonished the congregation to always put God’s Word to work whenever they receive it. He said: “I’ve shared this before, years ago in our Church in London. One day I slept and suddenly the Lord woke me up and took me to Matthew 8:16. It said: “He cast out evil spirits by His Word” and we’re having a healing service that day. During the healing service, nobody came that had any kind of evil spirit, we were praying for the sick and so forth. Church Gist. Ah! I said: “No! This thing, I need to put it to practice. I was in the office, I heard inside my associate’s office; some noise. By the time I entered there I saw a woman talking with a man’s voice and was very happy – “This is the evil spirit I’m waiting for.” I took the Word of God and began to declare from Zechariah 8. I called for the secretary, the secretary who was in the office heard it in her office and ran to the Sanctuary to go and hide. She said she heard that when an evil spirit is cast out, it could be looking for who to enter. I looked at her and I said: “By the blood of the Covenant, I’ve set forth the prisoners out of the pit where there’s no water. Turn to your stronghold ye prisoner’s hope, even today do I declare, I render double.”
-Now in the name of Jesus, out! The evil spirit went out on the spot.
Now listen, the Word was… I didn’t sit down with the Word oo, the Word came in the night into the morning, that same morning I looked for where to exercise it. Church Gist. Listen! Anytime you get light, put it to work. That’s how to exercise the dominion made available to you and I in Christ.”
