While sharing his charge titled A New Beginning, Pastor Adeboye said that despite the fact that light has come into the world, men still prefer to dwell in darkness and this is because their deeds are evil. He encouraged that as children of God, we shouldn’t fall for it or try to be a part of those who would prefer to remain in the night forever. He urged that we come into the day and surrender our life to Jesus. Morning begins where there is salvation.
He quoted 2 Corinthians 5:17 which says, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” He added that everything can become new for you once you surrender your life to Jesus. He concluded by appealing to those who are yet to submit their lives to Christ, convincing them that it is a decision worth making.
