“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God”. 2nd Corinthians 1:3-4.
It may seem like a certain situation in your life has lingered too long, don’t give up on your faith, God still surprises people and does things which is medically inexplainable. He wants us to be able to comfort others through our own overcoming story. Here is a testimony from a mother with two kids who were sickle cell Anaemia, shared during the NSPPD morning prayers with Pastor Jerry Eze, lead pastor of Streams of Joy International.
“…I have received my own testimony. My two son’s genotype has been changed from SS to AA. I joined NSPPD on the 22nd of September, 2020 through my elder sister who shared the link, she said come and see promo in change of genotype from SS to AA. I asked her if it is for real because the story of our sons genotype has been for 8years and the journey has not been easy. Everytime testimonies of genotype is mentioned, I keyed into it and prayed to God to make me the next person to testify. On the 30th of September 2020 after prayers, testimonies and communion of 24hours turn around, last minute miracles and communion of answers, I told God this is it. I took my two sons for test…the result came out AA not just for one person but for both of them. Hallelujah!! What God cannot do does not exist. This is real oo, thank you Lord for turning my mourning into dancing”.
