Pastor David Ibiyeomie speaking on “Living A Life Of Influence” emphasized the importance of being genuinely productive. He mentioned that the number of degrees one have is insufficient for a fulfilling life; one must be working to truly live. He also encouraged the congregation to stop being idle if they desire to be at the top. He said: “Now hear this and hear me well, no matter how many degrees you have acquired, if you’re not working, you are not living. Say I hear. Proverbs 22:29. Influence and accomplishment are functions of commitment. Many of us are not committed to anything, we are only committed to rewards. “I want this, I want this.” Church Gist. You must do something to want it if you want influence. Nothing will work if you’re not working. Proverbs 6:6-8. Shout hallelujah! Stop sitting down and expect to be at the top. If you must command influence, you must be a worker. The star in you will not rise if you don’t work. I’m not talking about going to the office, I’m talking about being productive. You can go to the office and not be productive. I’m talking about you being productive. Say I hear.”
