Bishop Oyedepo emphasized the importance of being led by God in his sermon titled ‘UNLOCKING THE SUPERNATURAL 4’ using the advent of Living Faith Church Worldwide to Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State Of Nigeria. He said, “Allow God to lead you. God never leads backwards, He always leads forward. Church Gist. You can tell from the story of this Commission. Ota is not the place to come to build a church. In this wilderness? It was not like this when we came. It was only one lane and no traffic. Deadly route with armed robbers on the road in the afternoon with their chest out. No but God never leads backwards, He always leads forward. You are going forward from now.”
Charging the people further, he said, “Don’t be afraid of God’s choice, His choice is for your good. He said to me that day, 1st January 1997, “This is the place.” It didn’t look like any place but God said it is the place. The devil remains the devil till tomorrow, he has not repented, He cannot repent. He is a deceiver. Church Gist. “That place is far” Okay! India is near. When you are struck with sickness, you go to India. For 20 years you are struggling in one spot because you won’t obey God, why don’t you check? We were in the city, nobody knew we were there. We came to the forest, the world knew that we came.”
