Pastor David Ibiyeomie has stated that young men should be gainfully employed before marriage.
According to him: “Now, hear this, work is not a curse. It existed before the curse. To work is not a curse. Genesis 2:8. God Almighty did not say: “Let there be garden!” He planted a garden! He worked the Garden and when He created man, the first assignment He gave to man was work. Church Gist. Genesis 2:15. So, every young man, hear this: Before you marry you must be working. If you’re not working, don’t marry. Marriage without work is to mismanage your life.”
