NOW WE HAVE SANCTUARIES AROUND THE WORLD

  • Bishop David Oyedepo

Bishop David Oyedepo whilst speaking about gratitude to God at the Showers Of Blessing Sunday Service in Faith Tabernacle told the story of the days of little beginnings of the ministry. He talked about the first church building built by the Commission and how grateful they were to God for it. In his words, “When praise dries up in the life of a man, God’s presence is withdrawn from the man. Church Gist. And let’s see how far he can go. Without God, we can do nothing (John 15:5). I wish we had the video of when we dedicated the Frederick K.C. Price Hall. A building that was done in two weeks. We danced as celebrating a global cathedral. We danced round the building. You first sweat outside before you come inside. God was watching and now we have sanctuaries around the world. If you don’t want to stink, start being thankful to God.”

Frederick K.C Price Hall is the first church building built by Living Faith Church Worldwide. It is a 400 seating capacity auditorium built in 1990 at the Garden of Faith, Barnawa, Kaduna in exactly 14 days. It was named after Bishop David Oyedepo’s mentor, Apostle Frederick K.C. Price because the instruction from God to lay the foundation of the structure came during his visit to Kaduna. Today, this structure is still standing and has birthed thousands of Living Faith Churches all over the continents of the world.
