Pastor David Ibiyeomie speaking on the topic: “Living A Life Of Influence – Part 2” mentioned that there are different classes of people in the World. He categorized them into three groups: Sleepers, daydreamers and workers. He encouraged the congregation to be a worker and to engage self-reflection at the end of each day to assess productivity. He said: “Now hear this, the World is made up of different classes of people. There are three classes of people. We have: The sleepers, the daydreamers and the workers. The sleepers are the ones who do nothing. He said a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands shall thy poverty come – they are the sleepers. Church Gist. They want the best of life yet they do nothing.
We have the daydreamers, they talk big, big talk but when you look closely, they are doing nothing. I’m going to be a multi-billionaire, I have an idea. For 5 years, your idea, you have not put it to work. I am thinking of starting a business, it’s going to start with 450 million dollars, he is daydreaming. Each day you wake up, ask yourself: “What have I achieved today?” This is how you know whether you are productive. Everyday you wake up, look at the time you have and ask yourself, I have stayed awake for 8 hours, what did I achieve for 8 hours? If within these 8 hours, you achieved nothing, then you’re useless. Are you hearing what I’m saying? He said redeeming the time for the days are evil.
Everyday, take record of how you spent your time. Are you hearing me Sir? If you were awake for 10 hours, what did you achieve for 10 hours?
