While preaching at the Prophetic Impartation for Abundance Service, Bishop Abioye stated how he doesn’t canvas for members. He emphasized that God is the One who selects and leads us to the Congregation we all belong to.
In his words, “When God points to you who to follow, it may not be me, it doesn’t have to be me, no! In fact, I always pray, “God, send only my way, people you want me to lead.” I’m not a people hunter. God told me, “Run after me and the people I send to you will run towards you.” Not about a person, not about a congregation, not about a place, but about God’s divine arrangement. He’s the One who selects the Group to which you belong.”
He further stated that if God doesn’t guide a man to a place, the man won’t stay there, no matter the effort the Pastor makes.
