While preaching on Sunday at the RCCG June 2025 Thanksgiving Service, Pastor E.A. Adeboye spoke about how God being The Most High, has a secret place. He referenced the part of Scriptures which says, “He that dwelleth in the secret place, shall remain under the shadow of The Almighty.” Church Gist. Psalm 27:5 also says, “The Almighty God has a secret place where He hides His people in times of trouble.”
God is able to hide you when need be. Church Gist. He said, “God will hide you in His pavilion, in the secret of His tabernacle.” He added that this secret place is not somewhere in the vestry of a church, neither is it in a particular location in the world. Otherwise, if trouble comes and you are not near that secret place, trouble will grab you.
He quoted Proverbs 18:10 which says, ” The Name of The Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are safe.” Church Gist. He reiterated that Jesus is the one you can call upon on the battlefield when you are surrounded by the enemy and have no way to escape. You can call the Name of Jesus and you will be safe. God is not limited to any location.
