Pastor David Ibiyeomie
During the Second Service on Sunday, Pastor David Ibiyeomie while teaching on a subject captioned “Miracle Working Praise”, told believers what they should do when they find themselves in difficult situations.
He cited the story of how God intervened in the lives of Paul and Silas who were kept in prison as he quoted from Acts 16:25-26. He emphasized that the word “midnight” as stated in the aforementioned Scripture connotes a time in one’s life where one is at a crossroad. The midnight could be in marriage, finance or family as the case may be.
He further said that anytime we pray and believe, God answers. But one can’t take delivery of those answers until one engages in praise. He stated that during the ordeal of Paul and Silas, they prayed but their prayers were not enough. So they had to switch to praise because God always manifests Himself through praise.
