18th June 1930: Betty Lasher is born. She was the Missionary Teacher who led Bishop David Oyedepo, the Founder of Living Faith Worldwide to Christ. She passed on to glory aged 92.

18th June 1906: James Gordon Lindsay is born in Illinois, United States of America. He was a Revivalist and an Author. He was also the Founder of Christ for the Nations Institute (CFNI). He was one of the mentors of Archbishop Benson Idahosa and trained him at the CFNI. The All Nations For Christ Bible Institute International (ANFCBII) founded by Idahosa was modeled after CFNI.


18th June 1907: Leonard Ravenhill is born in Leeds, United Kingdom. He was an Author and Evangelist. One of his widely read books is: ‘Why Revival Tarries’.


18th June 1952: Sunday Edward Akande is born. He is the National Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Nigeria.

18th June 2017: Pastor E.A. Adeboye dedicates an Intensive Care Unit Facility in Lagos. The Facility was donated to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) by The Apapa Family of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
