While ministering at CCI (Celebration Church International) Apostolic Visitation in Enugu on Sunday, Apostle Emmanuel Iren shared how he received the vision to start the Celebration Church International.
According to him, he just woke up on a particular morning, he hadn’t even prayed when he felt in his body something like a coin rolling down from his head and the moment it got to his stomach, he heard “11-11-12; the date to start the Church.” He was shocked because he was expecting something spectacular. He further stated that he asked God, “is that all you got? I need something deeper so that people will know that God has really called me.”
He also reiterated how his mentor, who he loves and respects so much, received an 18 hour vision when God called him into ministry. Based on that, he was expecting God to call him in an eye-catching way but he just received a nudge in his spirit to start a Church.
He mentioned this to tell believers that the ways of God are not the ways of men and God’s ways are higher than that of men. “Sometimes, you find what you are looking for when you stop looking and when you recognize that He has given you all things” – he stated.
Today, the vision that started with a nudge has become a global ministry with over 15,000 members and more than 30 campuses across Nigeria, Europe, Canada and the United States of America.
