28th July 1727: Jonathan Edwards marries Sarah Pierpont. He was an American Revivalist, Pastor and Theologian. His popular Sermon was ‘Sinners in the Hand of an Angry God’.

28th July 2013: Living Faith Church experiences multiplication in attendance of about 50,000 increase in Canaanland alone. The Church recorded 190,000 attendance during Sunday Services. This was after Bishop David Oyedepo introduced the ‘Prayer Reach Project’.

28th July 1834: Jason Lee is born. He was the First Protestant Christian Missionary to the Pacific Northwest.

28th July 1881: John Gresham Machen is born. He was an American Presbyterian and Professor of New Testament at Princeton Seminary between 1906 and 1929.

28th July 1991: Wang Ming Dao passes on to glory. He was an influential Chinese Evangelist who spent many years in a Communist prison for his faith.
