11th August 1778: Augustus Montague Toplady goes to be with the Lord. He was an Anglican Minister and Hymn Writer. His popular hymn is: “Rock of Ages Cleft For Me”. Other hymns written by him are: “Christ To Know Is Life And Peace.” “All Glory And Praise To The Ancient Of Days” and “A Debtor To Mercy Alone” among others.
11th August 2019: Sergio Obeso Rivera goes to be with the Lord. He was a Mexican Prelate of the Catholic Church. He was also the Archbishop of Xalapa, Mexico from 1979 to 2007.
