What an American asked Pastor Poju Oyemade
While preaching in a Message titled ‘Boldness In Confession’, Pastor Poju stated how people who do great things have no regard for their environment, they say their dreams whether others are uncomfortable about it or not.
Making reference to a conversation he had about Bishop David Oyedepo, he said, “You’ve heard how Bishop Oyedepo speaks, you will cringe now. He doesn’t even talk like there’s any lack. I went to America, my friend Reverend Keion Anderson, we were eating lunch, he said ‘Excuse me, come here’ I said ‘what?’ He said, ‘Is that the richest Preacher in the world? What do you think? I think that man is richer than everybody that’s in America.’ I said I think so. He told his wife, ‘I told you!’ I said, ‘Why do you say so?’ He said, ‘look at how he talks’ His talk! When he had nothing, in fact, I showed them in the office, I won’t call the person, somebody built a house in ministry and he called everybody to celebrate the house. He entered the place, he just said, ‘This is not a house by reason of what I will build’ I’m saying fact of the matter. First day I saw him, I could not believe what he was saying. He came up, he was in 1987 Holy Ghost Convention, he came up, he said, ‘I understand so, so and so happened yesterday, but I was not there. My presence makes a difference’ I tapped the person beside me, who is this man? But all those things he said are showing in his life today!”
