CERTAIN PRAYERS HOLD THE HEAVENS UNTIL YOUR ISSUE IS RESOLVED.

While preaching on Wonders of the Kingdom at the Online Sunday Service, Pastor Adeboye recounted a powerful story about a young graduate facing severe hardship. He explained that after a program, the young man was desperately trying to get his attention, yelling “Daddy G.O!” repeatedly. Church Gist. Despite being advised that Pastor Adeboye had already prayed for everyone, the young man persisted.
Sensing his urgency, Pastor Adeboye arranged for his driver to bring the young man to him. Upon meeting him, the young man, a university graduate, revealed that he, his wife and their twin children had not eaten for three days. Church Gist. Deeply moved by the story, Pastor Adeboye immediately directed that the family be fed, stating that their nourishment was the first priority before addressing the issue of finding a job.
He ended the sermon by praying for the congregation, asking for a ‘violent prayer’ that would stop the Heavens and resolve their issues.
