While teaching on the subject, “Pathways to Divine Direction”, Dr. Paul Enenche reiterated on the need to commit to putting God’s instruction to work as it always guarantees divine direction.
Speaking, he said, “God does not talk to entertain people. Like we used to say in those days, He’s not a talkative, He’s not loquacious, He’s not trying to talk to prove anything. He does not give instruction to people who are not given to action. When He spoke to Abraham, Abraham departed. So, He came again, ‘give me your only child’. Before the day could break, Abraham stood up. Abraham broke the day. He recieved instruction yesterday, before daybreak, he set out with alacrity. So, how won’t God talk to him all the time? Many times, we say, ‘God, you’re not saying anything’. He will say, ‘I talked to you last time, the last one I said you did nothing about it, what do you want me to say more?’ Go on evangelism, you refused. ‘You shall serve the Lord your God and He shall bless thy bread and your water’. Serve, you refused. Raise an altar of sacrifice, you behaved as if you didn’t hear. ‘Lord, for the past 5 months, I’ve heard nothing’. He says, ‘what next should I say?’ You have not done biology, you want to study anatomy. You have not done anatomy, you want to study morbid anatomy, histopathology. You have not done histopathology, you want to do forensic medicine. You haven’t done biology, you want to do anatomy, you have done anatomy, you want to do surgery, general surgery. You have not done general surgery, you want to do neurosurgery. It doesn’t work that way. In every language, 1+1 is 2. Is there any language where it is 3?”
