While teaching on the importance of engaging the wisdom of God on Sunday, Pastor David Ibiyeomie told the congregation how he observed that the wisdom of God at work in the life of Bishop Oyedepo was on a different level.
According to him, on a particular day while Bishop Oyedepo was teaching, he shared an encounter he had with a Chief Judge of a State. According to the story told by Bishop Oyedepo, the Chief Judge asked him “how come you are this wise?” Bishop Oyedepo replied that the level of wisdom he is operating from is not from man. “You are too wise,” the man replied.
Pastor Ibiyeomie further said that the level of wisdom in the life of Bishop Oyedepo is something else and that is the reason you can never find him under any pressure. He further said that this stirred hunger in him to covet this level of wisdom from him. “How can somebody be getting results but he is not under pressure?” – He asked. “You will never see Bishop Oyedepo under pressure; he is so relaxed” – he stated.
He further said that many people are under so much pressure because they are undergoing a small project but there are other sets of people that undergo mega projects without any trace of stress on them. The difference between these two sets of people is divine wisdom, he stated.
He also stressed that this level of wisdom can be imparted from one person to another. He desired it from Bishop Oyedepo and he got it. Today, he is enjoying sweatless success after the order of Bishop Oyedepo. “There has to be a thirst in you before God can give it to you” – he concluded.
