7th November, 1918 : Evangelist Billy Graham is born in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States of America. He was an American evangelist who passed on to glory on the 21st February 2018.
7th November, 1982: Deeper Life Bible officially commences Sunday Worship Service. Deeper Life Bible Church was founded by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi in August 1973 as a Bible Study group while he was a Mathematics Lecturer at the University of Lagos.
7th November, 1894: Walter Gowans, one of the 3 forerunners of the Sudan Interior Mission (SIM) passes on to glory. He was buried at Girku in present day Kaduna State, North Western Nigeria. Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA) was founded in 1954 when the SIM-related churches (initially in Nigeria) came together to form an indigenous body. It is now known as the ‘Evangelical Church Winning All’.
7th November 2009: The Most Reverend Margaret Ekhoe Benson-Idahosa is elevated to the position of Archbishop in Church of God Mission International. She became the Presiding Bishop of the Ministry after her husband and the Founder Archbishop Benson Idahosa passed on to glory in 1998.
7th November, 2021: Most Reverend Dr. Humphrey Bamisebi Olumakaiye is presented as the Archbishop of Lagos Ecclesiastical Province (Anglican Communion), Church of Nigeria. Olumakaiye was ordained as Bishop of Lagos on 30th July 2018 and passed on to glory on 30th October 2022.
7th November 1968: Victor Adeyemi is born. Reverend Victor Adeyemi is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Global Harvest Church.
7th November 1991: Joshua Mike-Bamiloye (JayMikee) is born. He is a Nigerian Gospel singer and the second son of Evangelist Mike Bamiloye of Mount Zion Faith Ministries.
7th November 2020: Judith Kanayo (Judikay) weds Anselem Opara. Judikay is a Nigerian Gospel Minister and Songwriter, Pastor Anselem Opara is the Founder of The Resurrected Church Lagos.
