6th March 1475: Michelangelo Buonarroti is born in Caprese, Italy. A master of the Renaissance, he served as the chief architect of St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City and is immortalized for his breathtaking paintings on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, as well as his iconic sculpture of the biblical David.
6th March 2021: Reverend Ntia I. Ntia of Full Life Christian Center (FLCC) miraculously survives a motor accident along IBB Way in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
6th March 1901: Amy Beatrice Carmichael rescues her first temple runaway, a young girl dedicated to Hindu idols and forced into prostitution. An Irish missionary in India and the founder of the Dohnavur Fellowship, she spent her life rescuing vulnerable children at great personal risk and exhaustion.
6th March 1984: Pastor Martin Niemöller goes to be with the Lord. A prominent German theologian, he served as the President of the Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau (1945-1961), President of the World Council of Churches (1961-1968) and co-founder of the Confessing Church in Germany.
6th March 2006: Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), an institution of the Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, receives its license from the National Universities Commission (NUC). Located in Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State, the university began its inaugural academic session on 25 October 2006.
