22nd March 1982: Brother David Olaniyi Oyedepo declares, “I can never be poor” after ‘seeking the secret of Kingdom Prosperity’ in a 3-day Study, Fasting and Prayer session. Today, he is one of the Most Prosperous Pastors in the World. In 2012, he was declared by Guinness World Records as the world’s richest Pastor. Today, the Church he pastors is undertaking the largest Church building project in the world and the Church is also considered one of the wealthiest churches globally.

22nd March 325: The Council of Nicaea decides that Easter would be observed on the first Sunday following the first full moon after the spring equinox (March 21). This reckoning means that Easter, in any given year, will not occur earlier than March 22 nor later than April 25.

22nd March 1967: Victor Abugo is born in Issele-Azagba, Delta State, Nigeria. He is an Apostle and the Founder of Liberty Christian Centre, Mönchengladbach, Germany.

22nd March 1962: Charles Agyin-Asare is born in Achiase, Eastern Region of Ghana. He is an Archbishop and the Founder of Perez Chapel International and Precious Television as well as Chancellor, Perez University College, all in Accra Ghana.

22nd March 1997: Pastor Victor Abugo weds Bola Abugo. They are the Pastors of Liberty Christian Centre, Mönchengladbach, Germany.

22nd March 2022: Church Growth Conference 2022 hosted by Bishop David Oyedepo commences. The Program was from the 22nd to 24th March 2022, for founders of Churches, with the theme, ‘Built To Last.’ Dr David Oyedepo gave landmark teachings on succession in Pentecostalism in order to see generational growth and continuity stating “God told me structure is the only way to secure the future of any organization. If you want a Church Ministry that lasts, go and study the ones that have lasted long before you.”

22nd March 1987: Oral Roberts enters the Prayer Tower of Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA to begin a 9-day Prayer Vigil. He said God told him to raise $8 million for Medical Missions by end of March 1987 or die.

22nd March 1758: Jonathan Edwards passes on to glory following a smallpox vaccination that went awry. Jonathan Edwards was an American theologian who served briefly as a missionary to the American Indians and President of the College of New Jersey (now Princeton University).
