The good news is not that Jesus rose up from the dead, He raised us with Him.
- The grave has lost its power over your life.
Revelation 1:18. He has the key, Satan does not have the key. Church Gist. Jesus has the key of life and death and He is holding it in your favour.
- Every pit dug for anyone by the wicked, the one that dug it will fall into it.
Shame on you Satan. The key of death is no longer in your hand.
Thank you Jesus. Thank you for enabling us to see another Easter celebration. It is your doing and the glory goes to you, receive our thanks in Jesus name. Church Gist. As we look into your Word, let the fire of your Word go forth and set free and deliver and make whole in Jesus name.
UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION
Philippians 3:10. The power of His resurrection enables us to conform to his image. We identify with His resurrection status. 1 John 4:17. Church Gist. It is the power of resurrection that made that so. That I may know Him. That power comes through revelation.
- You are going to see that power at work in your life today.
John 14:19. Life in its perfect state is our portion. John 10:10.
- Anything dead or dying around anyone this morning bounces back to life.
Resurrection is the hiding place of God’s exceeding great power. Ephesians 1:18-20. The power of resurrection is defined as the exceeding greatness of His power. The ultimate of His power. Church Gist. 1 Corinthians 15:26. Church Gist. Remember that the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. Death was destroyed on the cross, that defines the ultimate power of God available to us through the mystery of resurrection.
Colossians 2:12-15. We are raised together with Him. That’s what happened at resurrection, He destroyed the stronghold of hell and repositioned us for triumph. Church Gist.
- In the precious name of Jesus, your days of struggling for survival, your days of defeat and failure are finally over today.
Our covenant access to the power of resurrection is revelation. When Jesus gave up the ghost, the veil of the temple was torn into twain from top to bottom providing free access to every one, not only the High Priest to the treasures behind the holy of holies. Church Gist. That I may know him. Revelation. It is a thing to know, it is not just a thing to pray. You pray to know. Lord open my eyes to know the tremendous power embedded in your resurrection.
This is why the first miracle that Christ performed after he rose from the dead was an eye-opening miracle. Luke 24:45. Because that power will flow through revelation. 2 Corinthians 3:14-15. Church Gist. When Jesus yielded up the ghost, the vail in the temple was torn in twain, Matthew 27:51-52, providing access to everyone to access the treasures behind the Holy of Holies. That’s the first miracle.
- Today, you’re returning with that as your takeaway!
The Lord will open your eyes of understanding to understand the Scripture brighter than ever and that will cause that power to keep flowing in your life.
With our access to revelation through the power of His resurrection, our lives continue to go glory to glory as we beholding as in a glass. 2 Corinthians 3:18. Church Gist. That’s the wonder of access. As we behold Him in His resurrected state, as revealed in Scriptures, we are changed from glory to glory into the same image as by the spirit of the Lord. Now, see how powerful revelation is. Isaiah 60:1. Church Gist. Revelation is a covenant facilitator of glory. Isaiah 60:3,8,15,22. Sir, that is the tremendous treasure of revelation.
Revelation launches you into a realm of unending glory, you’re going from glory to glory. That’s why the enemy will keep anybody away from the Word. He’ll keep anyone who allows him, anybody. Church Gist. He’ll let you pray for 40 days but to sit down with the Word for one day, he won’t let you. Prayer does not empower against darkness, it is light that does. John 1:5,9. That’s why the devil will resist your access to the Word than any other thing. There are many people who don’t know God who pray from morning till night, no change. But light will turn any dummy to a star. Isaiah 60:1. Prayer and fasting will help facilitate access to light but light is the ultimate. Church Gist. In our battle against the powers of darkness, light is the only answer. And Jesus went to the cross to remove the vail so we can access the treasures in the Word.
- That vail is off your mind, will never be back there again!
- The Word becomes sweeter to your taste than your best meal
- Feeding on the Word becomes more delicious to you than your best meal.
- Sitting at the Word will make you feel better than any other environment.
As that becomes your way of life, watch out as your life keeps going from glory to glory in the name of Jesus.
What is in the Power of His resurrection? In summary, the Power of His resurrection is ordained to provoke our continuous change of story in all areas of life.
First, spiritually, His resurrection empowers us to walk in the newness of life. Romans 6:4. Church Gist. The Power of resurrection empowers believers to walk in the newness of life because the verdict that came out of that is in Romans 6:14. So the grace is strong enough to subject sin under our feet.
- Therefore, every nagging issue, every unwanted habit in anyone’s life must give way today.
Because, by the Power of His resurrection, satan is now under our feet. He subjected all things under His feet for the Church including sin. It’s now under our feet. It’s when we choose that we surrender. Ephesians 1:22. We are the Body of Christ so all things are now under our feet as the Word says: “The Lord will bruise satan under your feet shortly.” Church Gist. So, he is not by your side, he is not above you, he is under your feet. satan is under your feet. Resurrection has brought satan under your feet. He can’t determine the events of your life anymore. You are now seated far above all principalities and power and might and dominion and every name that is named including satan. Ephesians 1:21. That is the enormity of the Power of His resurrection.
- Somebody is free. Thank You Jesus.
The Power of His resurrection takes captivity captive and sets us free. Hebrews 2:13-15.
- The fear of death is cursed in your life.
You heard the testimony last night, that humbling testimony of one of those precious daughters of Abraham. The grandfather passed on and she stepped in. She drives everybody else out of the room when she returned from the Convention and said: “You will not die!” And you saw the raw victory that came along, he sneezed and he jerks back to life. Amen. Now, his leg had folded, his hand folded. She said bring me the Oil because she locked the door against the dead, herself and her children. “No! You will not die!” They brought the Oil, anointed the leg, the leg straightened up. Anointed the hand, the hand straightened up. He led captivity captive at His resurrection and gave us the authority over the host of hell.
- Therefore in the name of Jesus, nothing succeeds to hold you captive again. Ephesians 4:8. Everything threatening your life is going into captivity.
- The Power of His resurrection quickens our mortal body for health and vitality. Romans 8:11. The Power of resurrection makes whole. Church Gist. It confers health and vitality on the saints.
- Therefore, the siege of sickness and disease is over in your life!
- By the power of his resurrection, every terminal disease, every incessant disease, come and go disease is cursed from the root today and is dropping off your body right now!
- It is dropping down from your body right now!
- It is not permitted to go back home with you in the name of Jesus!
- It empowers us to walk in financial prosperity. Ephesians 1:18-19. So the power of His resurrection opens us up to the riches of our inheritance. We don’t prosper by prayers. We prosper by an understanding of the terms of the covenant of abundance. Church Gist. Prosperity responds to revelation of the covenant of abundance, not activity, not running up and down. Deuteronomy 8:18. So an understanding of His covenant is what empowers for wealth. Ephesians 1:18.
- Every veil covering your eyes to your inheritance of riches in Christ is blasted this morning!
“Show me” was what I prayed and God did. “Show me the secret of kingdom prosperity.” That’s all I prayed and He did. God does not know emotion. Psalm 89:34. Job 22:21-25. Church Gist. Now watch, “receive, I pray thee, the law from His mouth” (not come and cry to Him), “and lay up His words that guide the workings of the law. If you will return to the Almighty from your own way of looking at issues, you shall be built up. Then shalt thou put iniquity…” (So there’s no games in it. No games, no gimmicks. No bribery, no corruption, my friend.) “Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. Yeah, the Almighty shall be their defense. Ye shall have plenty of silver.”
Instead of 40 days of prayer and fasting for prosperity, settle down and pray, “Lord, open my eyes to see the wondrous things out of thy law concerning the subject of finance in my life.” Church Gist. I spent three days, light broke out. The light is still shining today after 44 years. Revelation 5:12, the Word says, “saying with a loud voice, worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive what? Power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory and blessing.” Those are the things He received for us when He rose from the dead. And all we need is for our eyes to be open to see this precious inheritance that’s wasting away many lives.

I was not a Pastor of a Church when I found it (Secret of Financial Prosperity). It was at that point I spawned and yelled, “Yay, I can never be pôör.” It has nothing to do with anybody in any fellowship, in any Church. No, it has to do with the outbreak of light to what empowers for wealth. I got that by taking the books of those I know have it; Kenneth and Gloria Copeland with my Bible and was on a three-day timeout with Jesus. If you don’t know up till now Sir and you are in this Church for one week and you don’t know then there’s an issue. So take the books: Covenant Wealth, Breaking Financial Hardship, Understanding Financial Prosperity and settle in, lock up three days, not lock up today and not lock tomorrow. This has been working for me 44 years non-stop. 44 years no break. And He now said to me, “Go back home and make My people rich.” So I have a mandate to pull people out of pôvērty and sqûalør, to live a financially dignified life by walking in the covenant.
Stop reading nónsënse d3mon!c meanings to what we do in this Church. We don’t bank on your giving. We bank on our givings. Hallelujah. Otherwise, why were we not borrowing when we were 20? We are 10, we’re not borrowing. It has nothing to do with what people give. It has to do with our stand in the covenant. The stand of each one in the covenant. Church Gist. I can’t empower you for wealth oh, He is the one that empowers for wealth and is based on His covenant not your views, not your ideas. Thank God I found it before I was ever a pastor, thank God it’s still working now so you don’t have to be a Pastor to have. Thank you Jesus.
Interestingly as we round up the power of resurrection delivers instantly. Delivers what? It delivers instantly. John 21:5 and 6, Jesus saw these disciples struggl!ng, catching nothing. And He walked up to them, “Children, have you any meat?” And they answered Him, “No.” And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and you shall find.” Church Gist. They cast therefore right there and then and now they were not able to draw for the multitude of fishes. Instantly, they were not able to draw for the multitude of fishes. Two things: He came forth with clarity of direction to them that turned their frustration to celebration like a dream of the night. It delivers instantly by unveiling to you and me the right way to go.
- You will not labor in fut!l1ty from hence forth.
- Therefore, everyone should expect instant turnaround encounter with His resurrection power this morning in the Name of Jesus!
Now, watch out for the following takeaways from this resurrection celebration service. Expect to return with the eyes of your understanding open to see brighter than ever. Church Gist. Noting that the first miracle Jesus did after His resurrection was the opening of the eyes of understanding of disciples to understand the scriptures.

2. Expect your access to clarity of divine direction that will turn all your struggles to miracles.
Noting that the second miracle Jesus performed was divine direction to the frustrated fishing disciples that turned their frustration to celebration. Expect your access to clarity of divine direction that will turn all your struggles to miracles this morning. That will turn every trace of frustration to celebration. Expect the clarity of divine direction to become your new lifestyle. That is, one of us the other time, he was at the bus park and he already boarded the bus then the Holy Spirit said to him “Get down”. Church Gist. So, he said I’m not going again. Before the bus got to Shagamu, it crashed. Not one person escaped. Clarity of divine direction. Clarity. You won’t walk into trouble anymore in your life. Clarity of divine direction. You won’t be trapped anymore in your life. Thank you, Jesus. We will always need it.
No sheep can successfully lead himself to a defined destination without a shepherd. You have only one life. Don’t toy with it. Allow the Shepherd to lead you. And He rose from the dead. Church Gist. And the second thing He did was to offer a clean direction that terminated their frustration. And the Lord is not changed. The same yesterday, today, and forever. In Isaiah 48:21, and they thirsted not when He led them through the deserts. He brought forth river, I mean water from the rock for them. He claved the rocks also, and the waters gushed out. Welcome to your gushing season.
- Expect to begin to walk in the newness of life with your dominion over sin and all unwanted habits established.
Noting that when Christ rose from the dead, we were raised up together with Him so we can walk in the newness of life. Romans 6:4. And with the verdict from heaven, sin shall have no more dominion over you and I. What does that bring? It’s the doorway to favor. Sanctification is a doorway to favor. I mean Psalm 5:12. For thou, Lord, will bless the righteous with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Church Gist. You saw favor bellowing on Joseph on one platform. I fear God. Favor was trailing every of his steps on one basic platform. I fear God. He became Lord over Potiphar’s house. I fear God. Highly favored in the prison. I fear God. Over favored by Pharaoh. I fear God. Favor usually traces the steps of the sanctified and nothing flies like favor. Today marks the end of every air of misfortune around your life in the name of Jesus.
And finally, we’ll be dealing with that in the morning tomorrow by the grace of God. Expect full restoration of your health and vitality. The Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is ordained to make alive our mortal bodies, to quicken our mortal bodies, to restore our health and vitality. Church Gist. Therefore, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, none will say again in our family, “I am sick”. It will not be said of you again, “he is sick”. Sickness is cursed in anyone’s life. It is cursed in your family life in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Thank you, Heavenly Father. Lift up your right hand everyone and give God thanks. Give God thanks.
