As you hold fast to the Word of all round rest today, God will open supernatural doors that will establish you in your realm of all round rest. Hebrews 4:3. Believed what? Believed the Word. Believed the Word that shows the way to all round rest. Church Gist. John 1:12. We receive the Word and we are empowered to experience what the Word says.
– May today launch each one of us into that realm of all round rest.
Get ready to catch your own Word and you will be glad you did.
Let’s start today from the teaching series of the month, UNVEILING THE WONDERS OF THE WORD 3. God’s Word is pregnant with wonders. Psalm 119:18. It takes putting it to work to invoke the wonders embedded in it. Just like your seed, inside the seed lies the plant but you have to sow it before it can grow. Church Gist. Until we put the Word to work, it doesn’t work. It is doing what He says that makes it work. Doing what the Word says to do is what commits God’s integrity to perform and that performance is what we call the supernatural. God steps in to make it happen when we commit to doing what the Word says.
The following are some of the wonders in the Word:
1. God’s Word Is A Spiritual Seed
Luke 8:11. The real worth of a seed is in sowing it in the ground. The real worth of the Word of God is in putting it to work. The Word we don’t put to work never works. Church Gist. Luke 6:46. Mary said “Whatever He tells you to do, do it.” You want to see Him intervene? Whatever He tells you to do, do it. John 2:5.
Obedience speaks louder than voice. Abraham never had to pray or fast. “Get out of thy country”. He departed. He didn’t have to wait on the Lord. Church Gist. “Take your only son Isaac…” He rose up early in the morning. Obedience is better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fattest of rams.
The interesting thing about the Word is that it is an incorruptible seed. Our harvest is guaranteed when sown in our good and honest heart. Church Gist. It is incorruptible, indestructible. 1 Peter 1:23. When that Word is sown on a good and honest heart, the harvest is guaranteed.
Isaiah 59:8. When you know the way of peace and you engage with the terms thereof, you have committed God to grant you and me all round rest – peace that passes all understanding. Nobody wants to believe that you can have all round rest in the natural. You have rest in one area and unrest in other areas. God has an all round rest package for us in redemption.
– In Jesus name, every area of unrest in anyone’s life will come to an end today.
The tiniest seed when sown has potential to become a great tree. We saw that in the parable of the mustard seed. Mark 4:32. It is the tiniest of all seeds but when it is sown, it grows up. Church Gist. That’s how one word from heaven can turn things around for you supernaturally. Just one word.
– May that one word that establishes people in all round rest come your way today in the name of Jesus Christ.
Among other things, God’s Word provides access to divine nature. 2 Peter 1:4. We partake of divine nature through the Word. The more of His Word at work in us. Not that one we know, the one we put to work. Church Gist. The more of His Word at work in us, the higher our divine nature content which establishes our dominion over every situation. The higher our divine nature content, the higher our dominion.
2. God’s Word is Medicinal
It procures healing. Proverbs 4:20-22. The word health is interpreted in some other translations as medicine. God’s Word is the balm in Gilead. Church Gist. It procures healing to our bodies and our minds. Jeremiah 8:22. There’s a balm in Gilead, God’s Word is that Balm. Psalm 107:20. If you look at Job 33:21-25, you’ll see the practical implication of revelation. As revelation breaks out, healing, health and wholeness breaks forth. Isaiah 58:8. Church Gist. Outbreak of revelation will culminate in speedy restoration of health.
– Therefore, in the name of Jesus, no sickness will hold you down anymore in your life.
Matthew 8:8,13. Healing power in the Word. God’s Word is the Balm in Gilead that administers healing, health and wholeness to our bodies. Church Gist. So, we are not reading to be informed but to be transformed. God’s Word has transformational power that imparts on both the mind and the body.
– It’s Done!
Matthew 4:23. Through the teaching and the preaching, healings were taking place. Just like now, you came with any sickness to this service, you’re not returning with it. Church Gist. As the Word is going forth and entering into your heart, light comes in, darkness must go out.
– In the name of Jesus, the healing power of the Word penetrates your soul today.
Matthew 8:16. He cast out the spirit of infirmity with His Word, healing all that were sick. With His Word. Psalm 107:20. Church Gist. There’s healing power in the Word. God’s Word is God’s medical store. God’s Word is God’s chemist. God’s Word is God’s pharmacy, you pick your healing capsules from the Word.
– In the name of Jesus, every sickness, every disease bows to that authority today!
How do I tap into the wonders that’s in the Word?
1. Every provision of Scriptures delivers by faith. Luke 1:45. So, we can’t tap into what is provided without faith. Faith is a non-negotiable requirement to tap into the wonders in the Word. What we don’t believe, we cannot experience. Church Gist. So vital. It is to everyone according to his faith, not according to what he has heard or found, it’s according to what he believes from all that he has heard and found. Church Gist. So, until we believe it, then it becomes a reality.
2. Be committed to walking in the covenant of Scriptures. The Bible is a Book of covenant, until our part is played, God is not committed. Church Gist. So, the word ‘Old and New Testament’ simply means Old and New Covenant and He ratified both through the Blood of Jesus. Matthew 5:17. That’s why Old and New Testaments speak till now. Everything you believe in the Old Testament comes to pass, everything you believe in the New Testament comes to pass. Church Gist. He ratified it to one by the Blood of Jesus. The Bible is a Book of covenant, we better get this Covenant mentality or we cry for nothing. For instance, nobody can be saved if he’s not try to repent. Salvation demands repentance for delivery. You can’t go from strength to strength except you commit to fellowship as a lifestyle. Psalm 84:7. The farther you are from fellowship, the weaker you become – going, going, going, gone! Mathew 17:21. Church Gist. There are some kind of resistance on your path that won’t give way without engaging the combined force of faith, prayer and fasting. Mathew 17:20-21. So, it means these three combined forces will flush out any barrier on your path when engaged according to the Word.
Now, listen, many believers have never had any open heaven experience in their lives, you know why? It doesn’t open by prayer and fasting, it opens by tithing and Kingdom promotion as a lifestyle. Church Gist. If you read Haggai Chapter 1, “Therefore the Heaven over you is shut from due”, that means, “if you’re not mindful of my Kingdom, I’m not mindful of you”. Malachi 3:10. Until you do your part, you can’t commit God to His part. Church Gist. This is so vital, I thank God I came across this very early in my life that we serve a covenant-keeping God not a Father Christmas God.
One of my sons was sharing his testimony with me. He began corporate tithing of his small company since 1995. He is in billions in his business. Billions! Not billions you touch and it goes away. Rolling billions! The Old Prophet Kenneth Copeland can lay hands on you, I can lay legs on you; it won’t make any meaning. Until your part is played, nothing happens. There are no games here forever. Church Gist. From the story of Kenneth Copeland, you know? He had a miracle of school fees while he was in ORU. He had to pay tithe from it so it’s now less than the school fees. And that lifestyle forever. Most of the time we just cry about nothing. Study if you don’t want to be ashamed. You won’t study. So what are you looking for? Shame. So you can know the right word in dealing with situations as they rise, you don’t get overwhelmed by them.
– In the precious name of Jesus, may this covenant mentality rule your heart from now.
For instance, the gateway to all-round rest is only at a covenant – To serve God with all your heart and with the whole of your desire. Not serving God to get something. With the whole of your desire. Church Gist. That is, God’s Kingdom is your motivation. If it’s for what to get, when you get it you disappear. You walk away. 2 Chronicles 15:19. I mean, you can live in a war-free zone of life! Yes, you can!
-Every area of unrest in anyone’s life is laid to rest today. As the Lord lives, your remaining days on earth shall be days of great triumph. Thank You Lord!
Psalm 89:34. Jeremiah 33:20-21. That means God’s covenant with you and me is forever established in Heaven. Church Gist. You can’t do your part and God fails on His part. But no matter how much we cry, until our part is played, He is not committed. Thank You Jesus.
To tap into the wonders of the Word, be committed to the ministry of teaching priests. 2 Chronicles 15:3-7. Now, if you check that story behind, there was no teaching priest, there was no law. Everybody was doing what he thought was right and so they got into trouble, to great tribulations because there was no teaching priest who will marshal out the law of God, the ways of God to be able to walk into liberty. Church Gist. And now, God has given to the Church apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists for the perfecting of the saints. So that we can come into the same realm that they are operating and be in command. Ephesians 4:8-11. Get committed to the ministry of teaching priests. Isaiah 30:20-21. Get committed to the ministry of teaching priests, they are part of God’s bailout agenda for the Church.
One of my sons had a challenge and everything was turning upside down. He said: “But I found the answer in the: “Blood Triumph” and “Winning Invisible Battles.” He found the answer to his ordeal, took a journey, came back from that journey, everything came down in his business. You find the answer by connecting to the ministry of a teaching priest. found the answer and came out of it triumphantly. What are you talking about? I want to thank God for the ministry of teaching priests in my life and how much bailout I’ve experienced through their ministries. Praise God! I’ve shared that with you several times. There are certain things you won’t find by yourself no matter how hard you try. He has put people on your path to show you the way out.
-In the name of Jesus, no more guesswork. You will always know the right thing to do as you connect to those ministries in the name of Jesus Christ!
Jeremiah 3:15-16. They will feed you with knowledge and understanding then you shall increase and multiply and be able to represent Heaven boldly. Church Gist. They won’t be asking for the Ark of God again, you will represent Heaven on earth after being fed with knowledge and spiritual understanding and that comes through the teachers over our lives as we may locate them. Praise God! Thank You Jesus!
Can I have you say with me: “This Book is full of wonders, so help me Jesus to locate the wonders in this Book and connect with them by appropriate responses to whatever is demanded in the name of Jesus!”
Today is our Covenant Day Of All-Round Rest and you are returning home with a seal of all-round rest on your life!
How Do I Access The Realm Of All-Round Rest?
Please note that the Kingdom of God operates on keys. “I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” And He said to Peter, “neither flesh nor blood revealed this to you but my Father which is in Heaven,..and I give unto you the keys of the Kingdom.” Church Gist. So the Kingdom of God operates on keys. You can’t have the right key to a door and be struggling with it.
– May the key to that realm of all-round rest return home with you today!
Keys here implies revelation. Luke 11:52…keys of knowledge! More often than not, these keys appear too simple to be true. So they are ignored. “That can’t be all of it. There is more to it. They haven’t told us everything.” Church Gist. They appear too simple most of the time to be true. 2 Corinthians 11:3. Most times, they are too simple to be true. “That can’t be all. There must be something else here.” That’s all else. There’s nothing else there.
Please recognize that all-round rest is the will of God for the redeemed. John 14:27. “My peace” – out of this World kind of peace; peace at home, peace at work, peace on the journey, peace in your sleep. All-round peace. “My peace, the kind that the World does not have – the peace that the World cannot fathom is the peace I give unto you.” Church Gist. You know why? At new birth, the Prince of Peace comes to reside in you. So you have the Prince of Peace resident in you. And with Jesus in your boat sir, no storm can drown you. Just imagine Jesus in your boat and the storm is raging. Take your rest. Whatever storm cannot drown Jesus can’t drown you because He’s right inside your boat. He lives right in your heart. May this picture go home with you!
They had Jesus in the boat and they were afraid, He said “what’s happening to you? I’m inside here.” Church Gist. “Can’t you see water is filling the boat? – Relax! Peace be still!” With Christ in your boat, you can’t be drowned.
– The good news is you are undrownable!
Please understand that scriptural truth comes in pictures. If you catch the picture, your faith rises because except you see, you will not believe. He paints pictures to you so you can see what it is. Jesus said, “I stand at the door and knock. If you open to me, I will come in.” Church Gist. And who is He? He is the Prince of Peace. So at new birth, He comes in to settle in with you. So you have inside you right there where you are seated, the Prince of Peace resident in your boat. Nothing to fear about the storms.
– Whatever storm cannot drown Jesus cannot drown you.
So the journey to all-round rest begins with the following:
1. Be born again. At new birth, the Prince of Peace comes in to reside on your inside to secure for you and me, peace that is out of this World.
2. Be willing to learn the way to all-round rest. “The way of peace they know not.” Matthew 11:28-29. “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I’ll give you rest. Church Gist. Come and learn of me and you’ll find rest for your souls.” Come and learn. We must learn the way to all-round rest.
3. Stay in love with God as a lifestyle. Romans 8:28.
– From this time on, all things will keep working together for your good; at home, at work, in your business, in your career, over your children!
All things will keep working together for your good as long as you stay in love with God, not in love with things (in love with God) which puts you in command of things. “We know that all things work together for good to them that love God.” Church Gist. They love God and so they are in command of things. 1 Corinthians 2:9. So when you are in love with God, you are in command of things. Things answer to you when you are in love with God.
– May each one’s love for God stay alive!
– May your love for your God stay alive!
4. Settle down with God and in the house of God. 2 Samuel 7:10…Where is that place? Psalm 132:13-16. Church Gist. “They shall be shouting aloud for joy. Joy in the morning, joy in the afternoon, joy in the night.” Hebrews 12:22-23.
So, Zion is the church of Jesus. So, when you locate and reside in Zion, things are ordained to be working together for your good. “This is my rest forever”, God said, and here will dwell for I’ve desired it. I will abundantly bless her provisions. I’ll satisfy her poor with bread. Church Gist. I also clothe her priests with salvation. And her saints will keep shouting for joy all day long. The shout of joy shall no longer depart from your habitation. A church is not a club. It is the household of God where we shall fellowship with spiritual beings as we have listed here in Hebrews 12:22- 24. And that’s why they said upon mount Zion there shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions because of the forces that reside in Zion.
Number five which is the big one, already mentioned. Don’t assume. Enter into a covenant to seek the Lord God of your father with all your heart and with the whole of your desire. Church Gist. It is the covenant gateway to a world of all and rest. And the Lord gave them rest round about. They rejoiced at the oath. They were not coerced into it. It came out of their being. And the Lord gave them rest round about. I found that rest 50 years ago.50 years after I’m still celebrating the rest.
I signed up to make serving God my way of life. September 12, 1976. I’ve not had the first regret of doing so. I’ve not played games around it. I knew when I signed it. I knew when I wrote it. I still have the hard copy with me. It’s not an assumption. It’s a committer. Church Gist. And all these things that others are dying to get shall be added to you. I heard from the mouth of God. And I said, “Wow, that’s my new lifestyle.” I was 22 and I’m now 23. I’ve lived my past 50 years operating in that realm without one day of regret. No shaking. Shaking stops in your life today. You can’t give God His place and miss your place.
· In the precious name of Jesus, today marks the end of ups and downs in your life.
When Jesus becomes the constant of your life’s equation, you won’t lack a solution. When He becomes the constant, the constant, the constant of your life equations, you won’t lack a solution. Church Gist. God first, God only, God ever. He works around all other things for you.
· In the name of Jesus, your story has changed.
How many truly want all round rest? Now let’s read together before we close. 2 Chronicles 15:12. And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart, with all their soul. Church Gist. That whosoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel should be put to death whether small or great, whether man or woman and they swear unto the Lord with a loud voice and with shouting and with trumpet and with cornets and all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart and sought Him with their whole desire and He was found of them and the Lord gave them rest round about. That was the outcome of their position. They entered into a covenant and the Lord gave them rest. Round about. Now look at verse 19. When King Asa shifted ground, war came back.
· Grace to sustain this covenant till the end, receive it now.
All the time the covenant was actively at work, there was no more war. The war ended. But when King Asa shifted ground, war came back.
· War will not come back to your life.
Maybe this will help you. I was not a pastor when I entered that covenant. I had no plan. I had no dream of being a pastor. I just found the truth and responded to it as what I call the jackpot of life. This is what gives meaning to living. This is what makes life impactful. Church Gist. I wasn’t a pastor. I wasn’t thinking of being a pastor but a believer with a burning heart for God. This thing works. All these that others are dying to get shall be added to you. I’ve not had to ask for anything to be added to me. He is adding them as He considers me due. And He is adding amazing things. Amazing things. The things that effort can never generate forever. He adds them to me without any cringing, without any connection, without looking for anybody.
· Someone is breaking forth in your life.
Please note, and this will give you a lot of confidence in God. Church Gist. The oil upon every Aaron is ordained to flow down his beards, down to his garments and to his skirts. So, every part of that high priest flows to everyone connected with him. May the grace to stay on in the covenant be released upon your life. In the name of Jesus. Grace to stay in that covenant to the end. Receive it now.
Scriptural pictures steers faith. Now listen, every child of God is redeemed a l!on after the order of the L!on of the tribe of Judah. He’s not ash@med to call us brethren. A g0at cannot be a brother of a l!on. We are joint heirs with Christ. So, if He’s a L!on of the tribe of Judah, then we are lions and the l!on is strongest among the b3ast and turneth not away for any; ever restful.

It’s never heard that a d0g will capture a l!on and hold him h0stage.
– Therefore, the unrést in the nation will not reach your family!
Every unredeemed soul is likened to a d0g. Jesus says so in Matthew 15:26-28, “It is not good to take the food of the children, and cast out to d0gs.” And then in Revelation 22:15, He said, “Without are the d0gs.” Now you’re a l!on. A dog may bark and making you feel its roaring. He has no power to r0ar.
– In the Name of Jesus, nothing unsettles you again!
Now there’s a wall of f!re around us in redemption. Zechariah 2:4-5, “I’ will be a wall on fire unto them and the glory in the midst of her.” No w!ld b3ast with dare fire. Every time a bush is set on fire, all be@sts begin to take run for their life.
– No access to the d3v!l anymore to your affairs!
Because you have a wall of fire around you and the d3v!l is a be@st. No beǎst can dare the authority of fire. No beǎst can stand the authority of fire.
– Therefore, from today, everyone prying to your liberty in Christ shall be consumed!
These pictures will have to fortify your confidence in God. I’m redeemed as a l!on. You never find a white d0g chasing after a l!on.
– So, all those d!rty dreams are over!
The most w!cked w1tch can’t pursue after a l!on; eh? Fresh food for the l1on.
– So, every ass@ult of w!tch3s and w!zârds on anyone’s destiny end here today!
