Pastor Jerry took to his Instagram to write the following motivations:
1. If you need their opinion, permission or applause to get started, you’re not ready.
2. This week, your level of focus will make you become highly selective with your YES. Not everything or everyone will merit it.
3. Always remember: Distractions and discouragements can come from everywhere. Don’t react. Relax. Tell yourself: This is my chance to prove I’ve grown.
4. You may also say this prayer with me for the week: Dear Lord today, take away what I don’t need, add what you want me to have, subtract all distractions and multiply my impact!
5. Declare this to yourself: I declare that I am unstoppable in my assignment, relentless in my pursuits, and more than victorious in every conceivable situation.
6. Potiphar left Joseph in full control of his palace. The Bible says he gave no thought or concern to his kingdom because of his trust in Joseph. Decide to be that Joseph for your employer, company, church etc
7. This week, please don’t stress everything; some things aren’t that important. If it has little impact, don’t make it a big deal.
8. Constantly discern the difference between connection and attachment. One gives you power, the other sucks life out of you.
9. Most times, you will never get what you’re worth but what you negotiate.
10. After all is said and done this week – be the best, some people are looking for examples.
