The year was 2010. Nigeria was in dire straits and the Presidency needed to know the next step to take. What was the challenge? The President was very sick and on good advice, 4 clergy men of good standing and respect were invited to Aso Rock Villa to see the sick president . Archbishop Onaiyekan of the Roman Catholic Church largely representing the Orthodox Church, Yusuf Obaje, the Aso Rock Chaplain, more or less the host, Bishop David Oyedepo ostensibly from ‘Southern Nigeria’ (this is a measured statement) and of course, Apostle Emmanuel Kure from the North and as at then the National Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria.
Apostle Kure will always be remembered for his revelation that there was something in Aso Rock that poisoned the character of a good man and limited his performance, warning the late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua to be careful, so that Aso Rock did not consume his presidency prematurely.
Apostle Emmanuel Nuhu Kure is a most respectable and very vocal man of God, who always lends his voice in matters relating to the welfare of Christians especially in relation to the government. He is known to be a powerful preacher, a fearless speaker and a man of integrity.
He is the founder and president of the Throne room (Trust) Ministry, a ministry set to create a nation of priests that will hold back the hand of Satan, help nations and individuals to fulfill prophesy and the Ministry of the Watchman and to help all men experience the love of God. The prayer and missions ministry has various towers and churches within and outside Nigeria with its headquarters in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, Nigeria.
Aside from being the founder of a divine ministry, the Bayero University, Kano graduate holds high positions in the society such as; the National Secretary and member of the National Advisory Board of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN). The African Ambassador covering the Apostolic Network, a board member Redeemer’s University, a member of the Arewa Elders Forum and more….
The husband, father, preacher and mentor have been more than a blessing to this generation and the generations to come within and outside the shores of Africa. God bless him.
