10th October 1831: 29 year old American law student Charles Finney is dramatically converted in the woods near his home. He went on to become one of America’s great revivalist after abandoning his law career. He is credited with the conversion of five hundred thousand souls.
10th October 2010: The Elevation Church is established. The Church was founded by Pastor Godman Akinlabi after previously serving at Daystar Christian Centre. Today, the Elevation Church has branches across Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, London, Manchester, Houston and Toronto.

10th October 1837: Thomas Birch Freeman is ordained into Ministry. Thomas Birch Freeman was a missionary who pioneered the Methodist Church in West Africa.
10th October 2020: Evangelist Lawrence Oyor weds Darasimi Mike-Bamiloye. Evangelist Lawrence and Pastor Darasimi Oyor are Lead Pastors of Davidic Generational Church, Ibadan, Nigeria.
