ACCORDING TO BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO, “LIFE IS AN ADVENTURE IN OPPORTUNITIES.” THOSE WHO MISS OUT ON DIVINE OPPORTUNITIES BECOME CASUALTIES OF THE TIMES AND THE SEASONS.

IT IS VITAL FOR US TO UNDERSTAND, THE SEASON ALONE WILL NOT CHANGE YOU, IT IS WHAT YOU DO WITH THE SEASON THAT WILL.
IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO BE AVAILABLE DURING A REVIVAL, IT IS WHAT YOU DO IN THAT TIME, THAT DETERMINES WHAT YOU TO TAKE OUT OF IT.
THE SEASON OF REVIVAL MUST BE PROFITABLY ENGAGED WITH IN ORDER TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ALL THAT IT HAS TO OFFER.
YOU MAY NOT KNOW HOW TO PREACH, BUT YOU KNOW HOW TO INVITE.
WE CAN GO OUT AND INVITE INDIVIDUALS, TELLING THEM TO COME AND SEE.

-Pastor David Oyedepo Jr at CHoP

Our Father, this morning we have come to give glory and praise unto Your holy name. Thank You for all You have done. For the answers You have given to our prayers and for the testimonies of Your mighty hand at work in our midst. We give all the praise and the glory to You. Now our eyes are on You this morning, we ask that You will speak to us and that Your Word will transform our lives. Thank You Father for it, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.

We began looking at this exhortation line on Monday captioned:
THERE IS A PLACE FOR EVERY BELIEVER IN A REVIVAL
We discover that a revival is a season of divine visitation.
Psalm 8:4
This visitation is a product of the mindfulness of God towards His people, for the infusion of life into their spirits and demonstration of favour in their direction.
Job 10:12
Every time God visits, He is demonstrating His favour towards His people. He is showing forth in order to infuse life into their spirit and to give them a story to tell.
-For somebody here, God will give you a story to tell.
-Somebody who is part of this Covenant Hour of Prayer this morning, God will give you a story to tell.
What we have been experiencing as a Commission particularly since May 2nd 2015 has been a divine visitation: A revival. Church Gist. God arriving in the midst of His people and every time God arrives in the midst of His people, He demonstrates His power in their direction.
Zephaniah 3:17
Every time He arrives in the midst of His people, He demonstrates His might.

Furthermore, we discover that in every such season of divine visitations, God glorifies His saints – Jeremiah 30:19
Seasons of revival are seasons of demonstration of divine power. They are seasons of elevation and glorification of God’s people. But it is possible to be in a revival and not know it. It is possible for God to visit and man not experience it.
Genesis 28:16
Jacob said, “the Lord was in this place and I knew it not.” He missed out because he was unaware.
In fact Jesus put it this way in Luke chapter 19 verse 44, “they shall lay thee to the ground…because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.”
Luke 19:44
When man is unaware of the visitation of God, that individual misses out on the blessing of that visitation has to offer. It is not enough for you to be in the time or season of visitation, it is vital not only to know it but to engage with it.

God’s servant, our father has said over the years, “that life is an adventure in opportunities. Those who miss out on divine opportunities become casualties of the times and the seasons.”
Ecclesiastes 9:11
Those who dive into opportunities are the ones that thrive in life. Church Gist. Those who dive into opportunities are the ones that thrive in the journey of life. If anyone is going to make much out of his or her journey, then such individuals must dive into divine opportunities and there is no greater opportunity than that which the season of revival offers.
John 12:23-26
“If any man serve Me”: All of this is about serving, not watching. Not being an onlooker, but engaging.
If any man serve me, let him follow me and where I am there shall also my servant be” – John 12:26
From God’s Word therefore, it becomes absolutely clear that no one engages in the season of revival and remains the same. Everyone that is a partaker in the engagement will always be a partaker in the decoration; the blessings that it has to offer. Church Gist. That is why it is vital for us to understand, the season alone will not change you, it is what you do with the season that will.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
Things are tied to seasons and purposes are tied to times. Those who engage with the purpose of the time are the ones that partake of what is purposed for the time. So every season, every time with God is loaded with particular blessings. Those who engage with the purpose of the time are the ones that partake of what God has purposed for that time. It is not enough to be available at that time, it is what you do in that time, that determines what you to take out of that time.
The season of revival must be profitably engaged with in order to take advantage of all that it has to offer.

Think of it this way, in different parts of the world, there are various seasons. For example, here in Nigeria, we have the dry season and the rainy season. The seasons come and go but those who know what to do with the season profit from the season.
Those who know what to do with rainy season profit from it. Those who know what to do in the dry season, profit from it. Those who don’t know what to do with the season have the season come and go and have nothing to show. What will show from the season is determined by what you do with the season.
-May each one of us here receive grace to do what is right in order to profit from this season of revival.

Quickly this morning, we must understand there is a place to engage in Come and See endeavours when it comes to every season of revival.
Remember, every one believer has a place and part of what we have available is to engage with Come and See endeavours.
In God’s Word in the book of John chapter 4 verses 28 and 29, we come across a Samaritan woman, Jesus met with her. After He did, the Bible says she went her way to the city and began to say unto the men of that city, “come and see a man which told all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?”
“Come and see!!!”
And by (John chapter 4) verse 39, the Word of God tells us, “and many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman…”
This woman had just met with Christ. She had no experience, she had no exposure, but she could go around inviting people to come and see.
It means that we all are called by God, we are given opportunity by God to go again and again, inviting people for the feast of the Word in Church.
Luke 14:17-23
Tell them, “that all things are now ready” – Luke 14:17

We are always gathered in Church into a feast of the Word – Isaiah 25:6-8
The feast of the Word addresses every need of man. God says, “go out and tell them Come and See.”
So we have a come and see opportunity granted to us, everyone of us. You may not know how to preach, but you know how to invite. So we can go out and invite individuals, telling them to come and see.

Let’s take note of this as we begin to conclude this morning. Remember that when we honour God in bringing people to Church, He honours us back in return.
No one that honours God in drawing men to Him lacks the honour of God.
Hear this and hear this very well: when God honours a man, no one can dishonour him. The honour of God is distinctive. That honour does not allow any trace of dishonour, reproach in the life of any individual.
John 5:44 – There is one honour that comes only from God, you can’t get it anywhere else. And when this honour comes, it becomes a repellant to every form of dishonour.
-I see each one of us as we position in inviting people to meet with God in Church, I see each one of us experiencing this honour that comes from above.
1 Samuel 2:30
Our honour for God which is demonstrated in our drafting of people unto God secures the honour of God in our direction and that honour is the ultimate decoration. No man dishonours a man that is honoured by God.
-Somebody here will experience divine honour.

Prayers: Ask God for grace. Lord, I receive Your grace this morning. Your grace O Lord, to be effective in taking my part in this revival, in the name of Jesus Christ. I don’t want to be an onlooker. I cannot afford to be an onlooker. This time and this season must not pass me by.
People are testifying, even you have testified before but there is much more in the season than what has been received so far by you. Lord, I receive grace to remain consistent in my engagement, to remain consistent in my pursuit. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ask God for grace. I cannot be an onlooker. I must be a practical partaker, unmistakable partaker of what this revival has to offer. I must emerge as a showpiece, one of those glorified by this move of God. I receive the grace therefore. I have made my choice but I receive grace.
Thank You mighty God, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
-No one here will be an onlooker.
-No one that is hearing this morning will be an onlooker.
-For you, this revival will decorate you.
-This revival will glorify you. Church Gist. In this revival, God will honour you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. So shall it be for you, in Jesus precious name.

We have our fliers for this coming Sunday: Covenant Day of Business and Career Breakthrough

Lord, we send forth every flier and declare that each one returns with a mighty harvest. Thank You Father for it, in Jesus precious name.
