THANK GOD FOR FREEDOM OF WORSHIP IN NIGERIA

I VISIT KIRIKIRI PRISON AT LEAST ONCE IN 2 YEARS BEFORE I WAS STOPPED DUE TO CORONA VIRUS

WHEN JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS, THE WALL THAT SEPARATED US FROM GOD WAS BROKEN.

THE MOMENT WE MAKE CONTACT WITH THE BREAD AND WINE OF THE COMMUNION, WE CAN BOLDLY SAY, “GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN ME THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD.”

THOSE WHO TAKE (EAT) THE BREAD AND WINE OF THE HOLY COMMUNION WORTHILY GET THE RESURRECTION POWER WHICH PRODUCES HEALING, DELIVERANCE, FREEDOM TO WORSHIP GOD.

– Pastor E. A. Adeboye on “ALL THE WALLS MUST COME DOWN” at NOVEMBER 2023 HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE || RCCG Redemption City || 2nd November, 2023

Exodus 12:30-36

– There’s going to be a great cry in the house of all your enemies tonight!

We are talking about, “All the walls must come down.” If you have anybody that you really love make sure he or she gets here tomorrow because God is going to do a new thing. Church Gist. You see, if you put a fish in a well, the fish will be drinking water from the well, get some food as it were and swim round in circles but it can’t get out because it’s surrounded by a circular wall.

The worst thing about being in prison is (that it’s) just like being a fish in the pond. They feed them there in prison, it might not be the kind of food they will love to eat. They take care of them when they’re sick at least to some extent. Church Gist. I know because I used to visit Kirikiri Prison at least once in 2 years before the Minister of Interior stopped me during the Corona Virus something. I hope I will be able to get permission to go back. Over there, they live almost a normal life, they take care of them to some extent. The worst thing about being in prison is that you can’t come out.

– All of you who are in prison in one form or the other, my Father will bring you out!

In the case of the children of Israel, they were in slavery, bondage. There’s no freedom of movement. When Pharaoh said, “I won’t let the children of Israel go” he wasn’t talking about moving around within a certain level of circles. When you are in that kind of bondage, when you are in slavery as it were, you have no control over anything – not even your children. You know the story, you can read Exodus 1:1-22. Church Gist. The owner of the slaves can tell the midwives, “kill the boys but let the girls live.” But the worst part of it is that they cannot even worship God the way they want. Oh, thank God for freedom of worship in Nigeria. At least to a large extent, you can come to Church anytime you want, you can worship God whichever way you want to.

– I pray that we will never lose that freedom!

But when the wall of bondage fell in Egypt, the principal thing that Pharaoh said is, “go and worship God the way you want.” Several things followed when the children of Israel were leaving Egypt, they were able to take their children with them, take their properties with them, they even had sudden increase in their prosperity because they’ve been working for years with nothing to show for it. Church Gist. The Bible says when they were leaving, there was not a single feeble one among them – God healed them overnight as he is going to do tonight.

The important thing about the Holy Communion Service of tonight is: by the special grace of God, from now on you will be able to worship God. I will read to you, Ephesians 2:12-16. It will tell you what Jesus did for you. When Jesus died on the Cross, the wall that separated us from God was broken. The Bible said, as they were piercing his body, the wall that had separated those of us who were called Gentiles, the wall between us and the Almighty God was broken. Church Gist. As his blood was flowing, we can now come into the Commonwealth of Nations of God, we can now come into contact with God. The Bible said that when he died, there was this great curtain separating the Holy of Holies from everybody else except the High Priest, the curtain was torn from the top down. God himself took the curtain separating me and you from him and tore it.

Tonight when you come to take the Holy Communion, as you come by faith, that wall separating you from God will be pulled down. Nothing can be worse than being separated from God. When we take the bread, we are saying (according to Jesus Christ himself), we are swallowing a bit of his body. Church Gist. When we drink the wine, (according to the Lord Jesus Christ), we are drinking a bit of his blood. We are not just touching, we are swallowing. The moment we make that contact with him, we can boldly say to anyone, “greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.”

– Beginning from tonight, the wall that separated you from the Almighty God will come down!

That is why the Holy Communion is not an ordinary meal. I kept on crying, “it’s not an ordinary meal.” You look at it and you think this is an ordinary bread? No no no, it was an ordinary bread before we blessed it. Jesus himself said, “take, eat, this is my body broken for you. Church Gist. This cup is the blood in the New Covenant.” That’s why those who eat it unworthily fall sick and die. Those who eat it worthily and drink the wine worthily, they get the resurrection power coming from within, producing healing, deliverance, freedom to worship God.
