While Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr was preaching on ‘Unveiling The Ever-Winning Weapon Of Wisdom (Part 1C)’, he emphasized the importance of constant meditation on God’s Word as the key to overcoming challenges and achieving success, especially in difficult situations.
He said: “God told Joshua in Joshua 1:8. He said this Book of the Law should not depart out of your mouth but you shall meditate therein day and night. He said: “That thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein for then thou shall make thy way prosperous and thou shall have good success.” The success he was talking about there as far as Joshua was concerned was conquest. Church Gist. Joshua was a Military General. He was telling him: “Look! If you settle down on the Word, meditate on it; you’ll be able to have conquest in all the battles that you face. Shout hallelujah! Any time you see a battle that seems fierce, don’t let your heart sink into fear. Let your heart go into meditation on the Word. There is always a solution in the Book for every situation of life. Shout hallelujah! Settle down and meditate! It is in the process of deep meditation many times that we have access to instruction and direction.”
