On the night of 19 February 1998, exactly 23 years ago today, the Most Reverend (Archbishop) Benson Andrew Idahosa or ‘BA’ as he was fondly called, preached the first of his last series of messages in a foreign nation (United Kingdom). This was one of the 145 countries he visited to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom in his 36 years of ministry. It was said, that he preached to more whites than any black man and that he preached to more blacks than any white man. Exactly 3 weeks after that sermon, the Archbishop breathed his last and was coronated.
Over the next few weeks, we will dedicate articles from our archives specially to this Icon and global apostle who believed ‘Evangelism was his Supreme Task’.

Next week, we shall commence with ‘1998-The year the Mantle dropped’ by Leke Beecroft.

It promises to be revelational and filled with lettered encounters.
