- You can’t be sold out to God and not know.
“I am not only sold out to God; I knew where sold out to God will lead you to: Up in the sky
I made that choice 44 years ago: I may not be in the sky, but I am not on the ground.” “We decided to give it our best” (documented testimony). He that sows sparingly will reaps sparingly; you sow bountifully, you reap bountifully (2 Corinthians 9:6). There is nowhere doing nothing pays, No: not even in the Kingdom (Hebrews 6:12).
Grace to follow the steps that the giants ahead of us, receive it!!!
DEDICATION: A COVENANT PLATFORM FOR THE RISE OF GIANTS
As mentioned earlier, gianthood is not our ambition, it is our heritage. When Jesus came, the Angel declared, “He shall be great and shall be called the Son of the Highest; the Lord shall give unto Him the throne of His father David and that will be forever”
Jesus said, “as my Father has sent me, so send I you” (John 17:18; 20:21). We are redeemed as sons and daughters of the Highest; meaning we belong to the topmost top in Heaven’s agenda.
Jesus said, “we are the light of the world and we are the salt of the earth. A city set on a hill that cannot be hidden” (Matthew 5:13-14). So we belong to the top by redemption, in our various endeavours. The top is our place. It is not our ambition, greatness is not the ambition of the Redeemed, it is the heritage of the Redeemed. You can’t say we are over ambitious; we are not even ambitious: it is our heritage.
We have been redeemed as priests and kings to reign on the earth.
They say, “who are they?” Out of every tribe, every tongue, every kindred (Revelation 5:9-10). Every child of God is redeemed to reign, redeemed a king not a peasant; but it takes wisdom to reign.
What is wisdom? Whosoever hears these sayings of mine and doeth them is a wise man (Matthew 7:24). It takes engaging the verdicts of scriptures to realise our redemptive rights. It takes engaging the verdicts of scriptures to realise our redemptive heritage on this earth.
When Jesus the Son of the Highest came, He said, “the hour has come for the giant in Me to come alive but except a grain of corn falls to the ground and dies, it abides alone. If it dies, it will bring forth much fruit”; that is the mystery of dedication (John 12:23-26). That is the giant in you and me cannot come to light without dedication.
The hour is not come until a corn of wheat falls to the ground and dies: it will abide alone. But if it dies, if it is dedicated to the earth then it will bring forth much fruit. You don’t want to remain at the same spot, then get dedicated to the Kingdom and then the virtue of greatness in you comes alive on its own. It’s a mystery but very simple to understand.
Jesus shared the parable of the Mustard seed: the tiniest of all seed but when it is sown, it groweth up and becomes greater than all the herbs; it shoots out great branches and all the birds of the air come in to make their nests on it (Mark 4:31-32). So the tiniest of believers can grow to become a mighty oak through the mystery of dedication.
We have the example of Daniel because the cheapest way to understand any Kingdom mystery is to identify examples that are in scriptures.
DANIEL
He was one of the captive children in Babylon, but himself and his companions were sold out servants of God. They would not be defiled by the king’s rich food. They stuck to their God in spite of their captivity. Daniel would pray 3 times a day. The Bible says, “As he did aforetime”, that was his culture (Daniel 6:10). Through prayers, he had access to the deep things of God which caused the giant in him to come alive. We saw how he led the team in prayers (Daniel 2:16-19). Then he said, “it is not in me, this is God. Don’t clap for me, don’t applaud me” (Daniel 6:30). It’s not that I am smarter than anybody else, God just decided to open this up to me. Through his deep heart for God, he had access to the deep things, the deep secrets of God. You can see how the giant in him just surged; “the king worshipped a captive”: anything can happen through dedication (Daniel 2:46).
- Anything can happen through our raw dedication to God and to the interest of His Kingdom.
He (Daniel) just emerged a god in the land of Babylon and Bible Historians said Daniel was in the forefront of affairs in Babylon for 65 years. A captive just took over the greatest Kingdom of his days. Dedication can translate any destiny into space.
The Bible says he was a faithful man, then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom, but they could not find any occasion nor fault… (Daniel 6:4-5). Church Gist They said, “Look we can’t get at this man except there is a law that will disconnect him from his God because we know that he will not agree. We all know he is a sold-out person.”
The law was passed and when Daniel saw that the law was passed, he said, “it is better for me to die than to turn my back on God” (Daniel 6:10). He opened his windows and prayed 3 times a day as at aforetime, then they took him and cast him into the den of lions (Daniel 6:20). There was no struggle because love is as strong as death (Song of Solomon 8:6-7). The king struggled, “Daniel, just pretend that you are not praying to God for only 3 days. Please!”
That is how Daniel did not only emerge a giant but remained a giant until the end of his life. As long as the seed remains in the earth, it will keep bearing fruits. When you uproot a Cocoa tree after 2 years of fruition, it stops bearing fruits forever. You remain dedicated, you keep producing fruits forever. They that turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars forever (Daniel 12:3).
- You remain dedicated, you continue to remain distinguished forever.
As long as the root of the tree remains in the ground and it is not uprooted, it keeps bearing fruits forever.
- Grace to remain dedicated, receive it right now in the name of Jesus Christ.
The good news is you cannot be dedicated and not know (1 Corinthians 2:11). Your spirit man knows everything about you, my spirit man knows everything about me; you cannot be dedicated and not know.
He said, “examine yourself whether you be in the faith or not…except ye be reprobates” (2 Corinthians 13:5). Everybody knows where he/she stands with God.
- Grace to reposition so as to make the most of this year, receive it now.
You cannot be dedicated and not know! All those testimonies are products of conscious repositioning with God that brought about their massive change of stories. Each one took his life in his hands and repositioned himself to see the things that they testify of.
Let me close with this testimony: October 3 1984, we needed 3000 Naira to pay off the rent of our Church facility. 3000 Naira! The whole Church worldwide, we needed 3000 Naira to pay off the rent of our Church facility. I had a chat with a few of our leaders, they were about 6 of them and I said, “now that we are all at the same level, understand what I am saying.” Because I told them earlier on, if I had this money, God will never need to appeal to me to give it but now that we are all at the same level, understand what I am saying because a time is coming when some of us will take off in the air and you will start grumbling and murmuring, “we don’t even know what they are using.” Let me tell you what I am using: I AM SOLD OUT TO GOD!
You can’t be sold out to God and not know. I am not only sold out to God; I knew where sold out to God will lead you to: Up in the sky. I knew that being sold out to God empowers you to stand out in life: I knew.
Now we are all at the same level, all of us but a time is coming when some of us will take off in the air and others will start grumbling, “we don’t know what they are using”. Let me tell you what I am using: I am sold out to God.
You can’t be dedicated to God and not know. Let’s stop pretending.
You can’t be in love with God and not know, so “only God knows who loves Him” is not true
Simon, do you love Me? You know I love You, not that only You knows, I can’t tell (John 21:15).
You know whether you are in love or out of love, anybody can tell that, you don’t need to go to school to tell that.
You know whether you are dedicated to God or not: everybody and everyone can tell that.
Prayer: Ask for grace to reposition yourself for true dedication to God and to the interest of His Kingdom.
“Choose ye this day who ye shall serve”, it is a choice to make, it is not a wish to express.
Lord, help me to remain dedicated to You and to the interest of your Kingdom in truth and in deed; not with eye service as menpleasers but as servants of Christ doing the will of God from the heart (Ephesians 6:6).
Ask God for grace to remain dedicated to your God and to the interest of His Kingdom all the days of your life.
That statement came some 37 years ago, the evidences are here in some measure: I may not be in the sky, but I am not on the ground. You better make your choice. I made that choice 44 years ago, but I still knew I made the choice 1984. I am still conscious of the choice and engaging with it in 2021. The choice is yours. Nobody can make that choice for you: choose you this day (Joshua 24:15). After 20 years of age, everybody’s lot is absolutely a result of his choice.
My prayer is that you will make this choice and stay with it! That you made this choice and grace to stay with it, you’ll receive it. So shall it be.
The race has begun again, we are marketing Jesus: it is our lifetime task, it is not for a season. He said, “I will remain in your midst as long as want Me.”
- We want the blessings, so let’s take the responsibility.
- We want the change of story dimension testimony, let’s take responsibility.
“I, the God of Wonder Double is visiting you and I will remain in your midst as long as you want Me” and we want Him to remain here for life and for generations. So we will keep doing what will keep you here: a heart for you, true dedication to your cause so that we realise the fullness of your agenda for our lives.
SPEAK TO THE DAY, SPEAK TO THIS WEEKEND:
Ask the Lord, “help me, I must not be fruitless any Sunday. Somebody must respond to the call to be saved, the call to be in Church and be established in the faith. Help me Jesus. This coming Sunday, I refuse to be barren, I refuse to come fruitless, so help me Jesus. Let my prayer life be fruitful; let my outreaches to others be fruitful; let my engaging with others, with the gospel be fruitful. So help me Lord.”
