Joshua 1:8. 50 churches with 1,000 members equals 50,000 members, one Church with 50,000 members equals 50,000 members. That one church has more force than all the 50 Churches together, this is the way things work in the realm of the spirit. Numbers matters so much until a book in the Bible is named Numbers. Very important! God wants us to have force and voice, He wants us to have audacity, He wants us to have territorial dominance, so that when we speak, they can’t say who is that one talking. ChurchGist. That means you talk by a combination of the backing of Heaven’s authority and influence on earth. Leadership is nothing but the command of influence, the command of followers’ influence. Very important!
Billy Graham commanded such a crowd and multitudes as an Evangelist and he combined all that with integrity and everywhere He went around the world, he received a King’s reception. It was said that where he was received in the United Kingdom is the place where only the Queen is always received, only the Queen is received at that place, that was where he was also received. ChurchGist. He was considered even higher than a President. I speak to someone here today, in this season that we are in, God is shifting your authority, He’s shifting your dominion, influence and voice and no devil can temper with it.
Before any man or devil thinks of daring any man for example like Papa Oyedepo or Daddy G.O he’ll think twice, in any realm he’ll think twice.
- THE DISCIPLESHIP OF THE MULTITUDES FOR GOD.
The crowd gives you the capacity and the help to disciple a multitude for God. I believe I’m also talking to businessmen that will have enough business capacity and stature to have employees in thousands, 5,000 workers, 110,000 workers like the Wales Johnson of the Holiday Inns, a Christian child of God and several thousands that are under your influence and you’re assisting them to know God, you’ll take them to Heaven. ChurchGist. You will literally take your employees to Heaven. Joel 3:14. Anywhere you see multitudes they are people who want to make decisions and they want somebody to assist them to make the right decision, that’s why it’s necessary for the multitude to gather.
- UNSTOPPABLE AND EXPLOSIVE IMPACT.
When two or three people decide to do something versus a thousand people agreeing that this must be done, those thousands in agreement are more irresistible than just two people. ChurchGist. Genesis 11:6. I believe there are people connecting from all around the country right now, anywhere you are, let us see those who are connected to us right now. I have something to say. Tomorrow come with your bottles of oil and go and anoint everywhere, go to your Cities, go to the place where the gangs are, the inner City of Chicago and just take it from one street to the other and say from this moment forward gangsterism no longer exists here, cultism no longer exists here. Homosexuality, lesbianism no longer exists here, the god of mammon, work culture cannot exists here. It is one thing for 5 people to do it, it is another thing for 10,000 people to hit the road at once.
Paul Yonggi Cho said he believes in prayer but he believes that the more people that are praying together on one thing, the more force is generated, if 1 shall chase a thousand and 2 would chase 10,000, how many will 2 million chase?
I want you to become aggressive, determined and decisive. One of the Countries we went to, the pastor said to me, that there is no Church that has more than 1,500 members in the whole Country, that is the biggest Church is 1,500. If the Church is 600, that is a large congregation. I told them that the devil is broken already. ChurchGist. We are going to build a 50,000-seater auditorium (Yes, we are going), we are going to do this and that in the center of the City (Yes, we are going). We are going to do this and that to the devil in our land (yes, we are going). We’re going to make up our mind, this is what we shall do, (Yes, we are going) and when they agree together, they become unstoppable.
WHAT ARE THE KEYS TO THE MULTITUDES.
- ALIGN WITH THE PURPOSE AND THE BURDEN OF GOD.
Exodus 3:7-8. God said I am come down and He is also saying I’m sending you, what is the meaning of that? Me and you are merging together as one, when they see you, they see me. I can go but I want to go through you. ChurchGist. The day you stand on that crusade ground and instead of seeing you, the devil sees God, the day you step into your Nation and instead of the principalities seeing you, they see El-Shaddai, that is the day that the battle over that Nation is over.
Everywhere you catch all the native doctors in this Country and the witches and wizards ask them when they see us what do they see? Some of them will tell you the numbers of their colleagues that have died for daring us, died for good. ChurchGist. Align with the burden, get to the place where God will drop His burden on you, He will drop His purpose on you, what He wants to do in your generation, what He wants to do in your community, family, on the evangelistic field, in the Church ministry and you will never recover.
- POSSES THE VISION FOR MULTITUDES.
Genesis 13:15. What you see determines what God gives. What you see determines what you can seize. Many years ago, in the spiritual journey of my life, I carried Reinhard Bonnke crusade crowd pictures, the calendars, I put that picture on my office table, bedroom and everywhere, anywhere I turned I saw the crowd, the crowd was endless, I was seeing it physically and it was entering my spirit, it was forming a template in my mind. ChurchGist. It was becoming a basis of expectation, as it grew in me, it grew outside and then I began to write the number of my expectations.
One day we were still in Area 1 Church, we were around 6,000 members in the Church then and I wrote 20,000, I was trusting the Lord, it was an order issue. I wanted to jump from that place not to double, but for more than double. I looked at it for a while, I placed it up, if I lay down on my bed, it is right up there, if I’m going towards the toilet, it is there, that number. ChurchGist. Every time they give me the count after Sunday service, I will look at it, but this is not the number I’m looking at. The time came when I looked up again, I said no, this number is now a limitation because we have crossed it, I don’t know when we passed it, we passed it almost by double before I realized we have crossed it, so I pulled down the paper and I tore it off, it has finished its assignment, let’s set other goals, it is scriptural. Ephesians 3:20. Proverbs 4: 23. I’m telling you the practical, the nitty-gritty not theory.
Doddie Osteen put a picture of her young self on her doors, on her fridge. In 1983, she was giving the diagnosis of metastatic adenocarcinoma of the liver, she was giving that diagnosis and she was giving 6 weeks to live, giants prayed for her, people like Oral Roberts, T L Osborn, Kenneth Hagin, because that was the community, John Osteen was with them and there was no healing, she placed the picture of her nice looking self when she was young all over the house and she said that’s me, this current body is not me, this body ridden with cancer is not me, that is who I will be. ChurchGist. Within 6 weeks she kept on seeing that picture and declaring scriptures, 6 weeks is now 39 years, the 6 weeks has not come and it will never come, she is 90 years now, if she dies now, nobody will say she died too young. I saw her when we travelled to Houston.
Am I communicating at all? You see it, you seize it, you possess not just the vision for the growth of the multitudes, whatever it is you’re trusting God, even though it tarries, wait for it. ChurchGist. There are times He may delay in coming, it may look like you’re wasting your time. I announce to somebody here, I prophesy, the vision shall come to pass.
- POSSESS THE HEART OF COMPASSION FOR THE PEOPLE.
Let your heart be compassionate for the people. Matthew 9:36-38. That kind of heart for people is a magnet for people. How many of you have ever been around somebody you know that does not like you? When you love people, you pull people. God will put in your hand what is in your heart, if you have no heart for people, God will never give you people to disciple. ChurchGist. An experiment was done some time ago, they brought a shepherd with his sheep, the shepherd cloth and staff were removed and it was put on another person and they gave the shepherd another clothe (I don’t know if it was the other man’s clothe) and when both of them stood, even though the other one had the shepherd cloth, the sheep followed the shepherd with the heart not the shepherd with the cloth.
It is not the cloth that moves them, it is the heart, the title of the pastor is not what brings the crowd, not even the eloquence of the preacher, the beauty of the sanctuary will not bring the crowd, it is the heart of the leader and the pastor.
I saw a man who is very anointed, the last time I travelled to the City where the man is, I asked of him, they said he is still there, I was a student in the University pursuing God When this man was a pastor, I was attending Kenneth Hagin camp meeting and he was a key person in Nigeria for that meeting but this man had no heart for people, he will just talk and preach carelessly. ChurchGist. All of you are asking me what I do with your money? I used them to buy clothes, which is totally wrong. The money of the Church is not his money, I used them to send my children to school
Firstly, it is wrong. Secondly, if you did that, you take the people for granted by telling it to their face like that, everybody left him. ChurchGist. He said I’m not looking for anybody to insult me and I’m not looking for anybody to take me for granted and I’m not going to use my life to service your lifestyle, the man is still there stranded, more than 40 years now and no ministry.
I heard of a very powerful man, unusual miracles, signs and wonders, the type you will see with A A Allen in those days. I said to somebody I want to invite that man, he said you don’t want to invite him, I said why? He said if you invite him once you won’t like to invite him another time. ChurchGist. I asked why? He said the man has anointing but he doesn’t know how to talk, he’s just callous. I said give me an example? He said he will say, you there, the one in the middle there, the one with the very big head there, come forward, let me pray for you, I’m talking about you with that crooked nose. Very terrible and unbelievable.
There are some people when they hold the microphone and stand it’s as if they are drunkards, not knowing that it is a privilege for anybody to sit down and hear you talk. It’s a privilege, it’s not a right, who are you? What do you think you are? That heart for people pushes you into a place of intercession for the people. ChurchGist. My wife is here, she knows, the only thing that can make me sleepless is people’s problems. I don’t know the last time I fasted for myself; I mean 3-7 days fasting for any issue under Heaven but I can go days non-stop because of people. Hallelujah! This is very important. You can ask God, Father help me to have the heart for people, whether it’s in business or any realm, if you want people, you must love them. When you come around people who don’t like you, he has not said anything but you have already concluded, this man doesn’t like me, I know. How long do you want to hang around such a person?
4.POSSESS THE REVELATION OF THE WORD FOR GROWTH
Mark 1:45. If they could come to Jesus from every quarter, they must come to me from every quarter. Mark 2:1. I saw that Jesus was in the house and it was noised abroad and Jesus said where 2 or 3 are gathered I am there, so if Jesus is in the house, they must gather until they are looking for space. ChurchGist. So, you have to get the revelational equation, this is what the Bible said and if the Bible said it like this, I expect it. Revelation determines possession. Deuteronomy 29:29. If it is revealed to you, it can be released to you.
