I’m not sure I will ever truly comprehend the grace it takes to be a mother, even though I am honoured to be one.
Nor may I ever fully understand how some mothers withstand the gravity of the call with effortless compassion, charisma and courage.
The sacrifice that this mother has made is unparalleled; her shoulders broadened by the weight of the millions she has carried; her hands widened by the feet of those she has uplifted.
May the grace that has called you, keep you.
May the joy that has compelled you, carry you.
May the hope that has commissioned you, reward you.
And may the love that has emboldened you, comfort you all the days of your life.
